Question

Photoshop Elements

A few months ago Elements 14 was working quite well.   Now, when I try to boot up the program, I get an online page wanting me to join CC.   All I want is for Elements to work.  I paid for it and it should.   I went to Adobe wesdite and they indicate I have no order history although they say my product key is in use and valid.  What now?  I really need to speak to a real Adobe support person.

Sounds like you installed a CC app, maybe Acrobat or a trial. Shouldn't affect Elements, unless you double click to Open Files. Can you start Elements from the START menu, if you're on Windows? And then open files with Open from the File menu?

I can start Elements, but it doesn't do anything other than import a photo.  It's not the usual program screen.  I did not install a CC program.  It worked fine a few months ago and now it's nothing.  I cannot edit or anything.

Since it isn't showing the normal screen, the best thing might be if you can share a screen shot. Please let us know if you'd like advice on doing that.
