Redemtion code verification

Hello all,

I recently joined the bandwagon of everyone and their brother with purchasing pallets of liquidated, damaged items or customer returns. The pallet I purchased had lots of software including Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 as well as the Adobe Premier/Photoshop 13 bundle. The boxes appear be slightly damaged, but other than that, the contents appear unused. If they were customer returns, someone may have just bought the product, used the serial number and returned it for a full refund. I tried contacting Adobe to see if they could verify the codes have been used or not. They directed me only to a link where I can locate my redemption code so that did not help. If the redemption codes are unused, I don't want to install them to determine if they are valid. I have no use for the software. I would rather much find someone who may use it. Two part question here. 1.) Is there a way to confirm a redemption code is valid without burning the code?  2.) Is it legal for me to resell the software if the codes have not been used?

1 - the only way I have ever heard of to check a code is to contact Adobe chat... if a chat agent tells you to try a forum, tell that agent that other users in a public forum have NO WAY to access internal Adobe information

2 - if the code has not been used (see #1 above) I know of no reason you can't sell the box
