Hey!

Today I tried updating my Creative Cloud Desktop but it said ErrorCode 191. So I thought "Ok lets skip this and try installing XD". Well... when I tried that, I got the same error but with an option to see the error log easier. In the error log it said:

Exit Code: 191
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
 - 2 fatal error(s), 2 error(s), 0 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 191) executing in command 'AddUWPAppxCommand' for package: 'UWPAssets', version:23.1.32.2
FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: UWPAssets Version: 23.1.32.2). Error code: '191'
ERROR: hdhelper exe at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\HDBox\HDHelper.exe failed to install UWP app with error code 1 - OS Message: C:\adobeTemp\ETR1A7C.tmp\1\SparklerApp\SparklerApp.appx#@#OS_Error_Code: -2147009261#@#OS_Error_String: Windows kann das APPX-Paket Adobe.CC.XD_23.1.32.2_x64__adky2gkssdxte nicht auf Volume H: installieren, weil es auf diesem Dateisystem nicht unterstützt wird.
ERROR: Failed to install UWP Appx Package with error C:\adobeTemp\ETR1A7C.tmp\1\SparklerApp\SparklerApp.appx#@#OS_Error_Code: -2147009261#@#OS_Error_String: Windows kann das APPX-Paket Adobe.CC.XD_23.1.32.2_x64__adky2gkssdxte nicht auf Volume H: installieren, weil es auf diesem Dateisystem nicht unterstützt wird.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The german part in the end says something like "Windows can't install the APPX Package Adobe.CC.XD_23.1.32.2_x64__adky2gkssdxte on the volume H:, because it isn't supported by the filesystem".

The thing is, I don't have any Adobe products or install folders on the volume H:, so why does it want to install something there?

I've already tried that but nothing worked as explained in the other posts answer.

Stifl, what Adobe application are you installing and on which operating system?  What type of Creative Cloud membership are you using?

Are you able to install and update applications through the Microsoft Store?
