Why do I have an Adobe folder in my Documents?

This has been a topic before, I know, cf. e.g. Jan 29, 2018

However, I've just reinstallede Lightroom Classic on a freesh Win10-installation so the problem comes to mind: Once again, Adobe has put an Adobe folder in my Documents. Surely, this has been fixed by now? What is Adobe doing in my Documents Folder?

C:\Users\Kasper\Documents\Adobe\dynamiclinkmediaserver\12.1

Seems like the folder is empty but it just shouldn't be there.

Came on here looking for a solution to this - theres quite a few blog posts complaining about it too.

Short term answer is to hide it - although that isn't ideal.

I wonder if adobe care that creating system files is against developer guidelines by both apple and windows.

Are all the internal aspects of their software this messy too?
