[Nancy was extremely helpful to me in November. I hope she won't mind assisting me resolve a new DW CC problem that I've experienced daily for seven months.] My problem deals with DW's uploading of files (which are generally small "HTML" and "jpg" files). This has been happening with v. 21.0 and v. 20.2. I removed my antivirus apps and browser extensions but those efforts weren't helpful. I also deleted and replaced Dreamweaver's cache files but that was also ineffective in correcting this problem. For the past two weeks, I've e-communicated with my host to see if it was a server-side problem. It tweaked a number of ht-access settings and the mod_expires extension but the problem continues, every time I attempt to upload one or more of my local files to the server. Basically, after selecting the files I want to upload, I click the upload icon to put the files; after a few seconds, I get a notice saying: "File activity incomplete." It shows how many of the selected files

Good afternoon, Support Community: I have added maps to web pages before using iframe, et cetera ... pretty easy. But I'm working on a web site for a nonprofit, WAHRS, and they would like me to add this particular interactive map from a related web site to their Programs location page. Hello everyone !I am completely new on Dreamweaver and it seems like I made something wrong with the application.When I first started and opened a new file, I hadn't any problem to use "<" (in html). When I used it I got a list of the different tags I could use like the Doctype, paragraph and so on. But I tried to get some personalisation of the application and now, even if I create a new file and type "<" I do not have the tag list anymore and get immediatly the error I wrote on the title of my topic : "Special Characters must be escaped : [<]"If someone now how or what to do to get back the intuitive list it would be a great thing for me.I join a screenshot so that maybe someone will see what's going on here.

I had Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 (non cloud subscription version) and then I saw a good deal for Creative Cloud for a year and tried it but didn't do anything to Dreamweaver as far as upgrading (as far I I am aware of). I recently have since dropped all cloud services except Premiere Pro plan. When I now try to open my Dreamweaver CS6 app I get the 'Renew your subscription' message when this is an older version of Dreamweaver that didn't need a subscription. How do I get it to by pass this message? Thanks for any info.

Hi All:  I was wondering if there was a way to change a completed - top of page navbar - to a regular one that I can place anywhere? I know how to start one but this navbar has quite a bit of work done on it and I don't want to have to do over again. Thanks.

When you choose a Google web font, it seems you can only choose one at a time and not create a set.  First of all, is there an easy way to create font stacks/sets from the web.   And do you have to create a web generator set for your site or just a link to google fonts?  Is there plugin that makes this easier?  

Two things.1) I get a JavaScript error everytime I try to save.2) Live View no longer works.  It will show as an option but will not switch over from design view.  There is also a DUMMY button on the right side of the screen.  When you hover over it it says "Switch to Live View" and will not change when clicked.  I have been a paying customer of this product for years and have recently found that every year as updates come out the product continues to fail.  There is no reason for these issues to continue as consecutive as they have been.  You owe it to all subscribers to be better, do better and provide a service that is better.What are the fixes to these issues?  

My pre-apologies for not being well-versed in php, but I am trying to put together a simple Comment box for users to "drop me a line".  I know this might seem strange, but for this particular purpose I don't want to require a Name and Email Address form field. I am having a problem editing wordpress themes in dreamweaver.  it is giving me the following error:Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\twentyfifteen\index.php on line 17instead of showing the information on the index page of the theme.  Not the top level index page shows the correct information (ie what is in my local version of wordpress).This is on a local install of wordpress.  I saw suggestions of disabling permalinks.  but I can't find disable as a choice.

After holding out for years, the machine with CS5.5 finally died and I had to upgrade, unwillingly, to DW2019. In CS5.5, when you placed an image, you could align it with a little set of boxes on the lower left for Vertical and Horizontal spacing, and on the lower right a drop-down with align left, right, center, default etc. I can find none of these or anything similar. How do I put my images on the right of the text, for example, with a 3px space between image and text? This was very easy in the old version and seems impossible in the improved one. PS: I can;t even spell HTML.

Is there a way to disable all dialogs after confirming that I want to update all pages *after* renaming a page? When I rename a page or change a library item the application cycles through all pages that are affected... updating them, saving them to the server, etc. However, it pops up the dialog for each one! I've told it to hide the second one that shows for each file. However, these keep coming back. AND, then when I move to a different desktop (OS X) the dialog boxes follow me. Uggggggggg. At one point the first update dialog box with the question about whether I want to update all gets on one desktop window, while the main app is on another, and then the second file update dialogs are there too... resulting in my screen automatically flipping back and forth between desktops on its own. 50 times!  I just want to move on to other work and come back when it's finished.  How could this be considered desirable behavior? Any ideas?Thanks,Rich

I've had Dreamweaver for almost my adult life, so I know how to use it properly. Just wanted to mention that. But recently, anytime I upload a file to my server, if that file is already there, it deletes that server's file and doesn't replace it with the remote file I'm uploading. It just leaves it deleted. Has anybody seen this bug before and know what I should do to fix it? Thank you.

I am a 67 year old programmer who has been developing for the web since day 1. Does DW (any version) support JPEG 2000? The reason I ask is that Google SEO suggested JPEG 2000 rather than JPG to speed up pageloads but my antediluvian version of DW doesn't recognize .jpf files.

Can anyone tell me what I did and how to get back to the desktop view, please? I can't finish the lesson otherwise. Thank you.

Using DW CC 21.0 on Windows 10 on a dual monitor setup. One monitor is an UHD laptop built-in monitor with 3840 x 2160 and scaling set at 250% while the  physically larger monitor is an ultrawide monitor at 2560 x 1080 with no scaling (100%). My preferred monitor for DW is the ultrawide. But, any menus, both main menu and context menus, are displayed in HUGE fonts that dominate the screen when running DW on the ultrawide. If I run it on the UHD laptop monitor everything is normal, but placement on my physical desktop and desire for the larger physical monitor for split-screen precludes using the laptop as my main DW editing display. If I had to guess I'd suspect that the scaling from the UHD monitor is coming across to DW on the ultrawide. I did experiment with changing the scaling on the UHD but that had no impact on DW. I've seen elsewhere in this form that DW doesn't do well with UHD monitors.
