It's just annoying. 600+ lines of CSS and this is the only error I have. Other people have also been complaining about this issue for a long time now so it's probably Dreamweaver not recognising fr units for some reason.
I cannot get to reinstall latest version of Dreamweaver after deleting the older version for the new. It kept on stopping after about 7% of install. II have been trying for weeks but with no result! Can someone please help?
When I cut and paste my navigation code, it works for all 12 pages on my website except two: home page and contact page. The drop down menu doesn't work for one dropdown item and the hamburg doesn't work. I've tried everything I can think of, including deleting the rest of the coding for both pages to see if there was an error somewhere. Any ideas?
I am running DW 2020 (latest version) on Mac (v. 10.15.5). Suddenly, I cannot edit any of my CSS files within DW whether I try to edit the code or by using the CSS Designer panel. When I bring up the info panel on any of my CSS files it does not show as being locked. Looking for help please! David

I am trying to show a client how her website will look with a certain background as well as multi level dropdown menus. Many of you were very helpful and I thank you.Here are my challenges: 1. I'm using the code for a backfround image however the image will not show. Is that because I'm using my local computer and nothing has been upgraded to the host? 2. I want to have 2 level of dropdown menus and it's not working. I want "vacations" to move over to the right and be "under" memories with an arrow the same way as "photobooks". Hi everyone, I don't know that much about HTML. I started with the Dreamweaver template under File --> New --> Starter Templates --> Email Tempaltes --> Email Responsive. I then edited the text, and replaced the images at the sizes that the document specified. When I went to paste the html into my gmail as a newsletter, (open chrome document, copy all, paste into a new Gmail email) I am not getting the document to be centered (see embedded image below) I am not sure if I need to change the width of the HTML document itself? Hi is there a way i can press a keyboard shortcut for autoformatting as the default setup requires two clicks and maybe its the way i have dreamweaver setup but the indentation of code is not very good in relation to html.
Haven't worked with DW for a while. Using lastest version of DW on a PC. I have updated a page and loaded a folder of files to the local site. Then uploaded all to the remote servicer. I can't see the update. Hold you breathe. Yes I cleared all components of cache, history etc out for MS Edge and restarted the browser. Multiple times. I also used a device that should never been to the page. In DW files panel I opened the remote view, files loaded, opened the offending page without dependents. Update is there as is the folder. So either something wrong with browser or the files are not on the server. I know it is something stupid, but can someone help me. The page is www.awarenessproductions.com/my.htm. Hi,In Deamweaver CS6 on Win7_64 I have 100 different Sites (in Sites Manager).All working fine. All Sites are on the same Server (192.168.234.165)Now the Server has moved to another address.In Sites Manager I can open the Settings of the 1st Site and edit the Server-Settings to the new address,but it changes only the 1st Site - not all. Is there a way to change the new Server-Address of all Sites at once ?Is there perhaps a file on my PCwhere all those sites of the DW-Sites-Manager are listedand I can change all Addresses there ?Thanks Nafraju

I have been working on a project for 2 years now developing an infrastructure portal for a client using Dreamweaver. I am able to link other files (pdf., kmz., dgn., etc.) to my html pages just fine, but I am having a lot of trouble linking QGIS project files to my pages. It will open fine using real time preview, but it will not open QGIS when I open my site locally. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Dreamweaver constantly gives me the error:"Dynamically-generated files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server. Retry. Setup" I have had this problem since 2013. LOL. I remember clearly! The workaround used to be to go into Wordpress and force it to be "plain" in permalinks, and then it would work. And then I could change it back to "day and name" in WP. But now it ONLY works if I set it to "Plain". ARGH. How do I fix this??

Hello there,Currently I am trying to implement website localization, so that the users would be able to switch between different languages.I couldn't find much valuable information about this topic. What I thought of is save some file to the users local machine, like a json file, where I would store some values. Let's say language integer. If 0 one language, if 1 another and so on.One problem is that I'm not sure how to do that. How do I save a file and then load it again once the page is loaded and how would I read the data from the file? Also are there any better solutions to this problem? Thank you
Hi,I am pretty new to Dreamweaver, so I am still learning the basics. I am creating emails with French, Spanish and German content in Dreamweaver, and I wanted to know if I had to write code for the accents in the words, or if I could just paste them in. I am uploading Dreamweaver content to Acoustic Campaign which has the mailing lists. I just want to make sure that between Dreamweaver, IBM Acoustic campaign and the email server, the accents aren't becoming incoherent symbols if I just copy and paste them off of something like word of Google Docs (verses writing them in code).

Every time I open a PHP script on my local machine, a Temp file EXECUTES on the server! I have "Preview using temp file" OFF. I "opened" a php script recently in Dreamweaver and the "######_asdfs9eee.php" temp file executed on our server sending out over 1,000 emails. Obviously it was not my intention to EXCECUTE the script. Only edit it. We are running Windows 10, DW version 20.2 Until this gets fixed I will not be able to use DW to edit our websites. Please help. Thanks!
I built my very first contact form in Dreamweaver. I am using the Post method and added all the necessary I believe. However, when I test my form, it resets as if something has happened but when I check the email, there is nothing there.I have gone line by line but cannot see what I am missing. I have been trying for hours to get 2 tables with 2 colums and 7 rows side by side in Boostrpa Dreamweaver and have not been able to get them to do that. I was able to do this on a diferent website, however for some reason I can't any longer.Just so you know my computer had to be fixed about 2 weeks ago was it wasn't powering on. I am creating a new site and trying to change the color of the navbar text to #800000 in Bootstrap. I can usually change the color of the etxt in teh CSS Designer, however, that is grayed out. Hi I am creating a website in Bootstrap and am unable to change the top part of the page where the logo and navbar are. I am able to change the background to the color my client wants. I would appreciate nay thoughts.Thank you in advance. Carolyn Josephs
I recently had to troubleshoot a website that was removed for excessive use of SQL resources. In doing so, I discovered that the database was down because a hacker had added a new MySQL user name in some sort of attempt to hijack the database. Luckily I was able to restore the database my returning the original user name in the configuration file. So my question is: Do you charge your clients for fixing their hacked websites? It seems like a good way to anger a client and yet, without the expertise of the web designer their sites would remain down.
