Hi all,I'm a Dreamweaver CS6 person - I would use this forever if I could - but my new 3840x2160 laptop and cs6 don't get along (Fonts move about when highlighting and even with compatibility turned on - it looks blurry)How can I get the colors when coding in CC 2018 to match the colors of CS6?It was just the classic php editing color scheme.Is there just a main.less I can download to make it look like cs6?Thanks for the help!

I originally had a dreamweaver CS5.  Which last january I discovered was no longer supported.  I dowenloaded dreamweave 2020 in a failed attempt to upgrade CS5 to a supported platform.  I found that 1 week was not long enough for my learning curve.  Also with the cost of $300/year, the Jamestown Rotary Club can not afford it.  Now I'm stuck with an app (dreamweaver 2020) that I CAN NOT UNINSTALL/DELETE FROM MY WINDOWS 10 LAPTOP.  I tried "googling" for uninstall instructions, sadly none worked.  I need detailed instructions on how to safely remove this app.  Adobe should have made provisions for a user to uninstall any app as easily as it was to install!!!!Gail Thomas

Where's the Date Modified Column in DW 2020's Files Window?

I switched from Adobe GoLive CS2 to Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017. Yes, I know that's a big jump. Dreamweaver CC 2017 is the dumbest program for understanding and displaying code colors in the interface. GoLive CS2 could understand code coloring without any preference changes and it is more than a decade older than Dreamweaver CC 2017. I am honestly thinking about switching back to GoLive CS2 just so I can read the code. I have tried everything I can find online about changing code coloring. Including Adobe's own, incomplete, how to on changing code colors (Learn how you can customize the colors of your code elements in Dreamweaver. ). I say incomplete because the description on how to change "Customize code colors for mixed code files" doesn't actually tell you how to change colors for all file types. On top of that, it doesn't actually change the colors for the coding languages mixed in the same file. It did change some coloring, but I have ASP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery all mixe

I have a question for the vets at creating HTML signatures and mailers : basically, how do you handle styling? Do you link to a CSS (stylesheet) located on a public server - which I already do this with the images - or do you include it in the HTML file, between <style> tags before the body? Or do you do neither, and simply apply "style=" to every item regardless of how redundantly bloated things can get going that route? Thanks!

When I switch to Design Mode, the CSS is  not implemented.  What's wrong?

Can someone help me please. I got git on my dreamweaver but I 've got like 28 pulls in one spot. I have no idea how to get them off. I've tried to no avail. pls. help me to remove them, so I can start to use my system again. I am a student in the process of learning these things, admittedly I have NO idea what I'm doing. A really simple but irritating problem. I am trying to embed a YouTube video in a simple HTML page with Dreamweaver, defining the player window to be larger. Hi,A few years ago (before I knew enough to start coding on my own) a friend of mine set up one of my websites so that I never had to use file extensions in my hyperlinks.What the server would do in the absence of an extension is cycle through a list of favored ones (specified by me) until it found a match. In other words, if I'm linking to just "/contact" (no extension) then the server would search the target folder for "contact.php" (assuming .php is first on my list of extensions to search for) and failing that, it'll search for the next extension (.html); and so on...The purpose is merely elegance, nothing more; I find that linking to "/contact" looks better than linking to "/pages/contact.html" (and also gives less away about the BTS structure of the site).I'm already using the following code (provided by one of you superheroes a couple of months back) to remove /pages from the url.:RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-fRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-dRewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^

I was running Dreamweaver 20.1. I attempted to upgrade to 20.2, The upgrade got an error code 305. I tried a few more times to do the update with the same error. I used the Windows Control Panel to remove the program and rebooted. I used  Creative Cloud to reinstall Dreamweaver. I get a 183 error code. The instructions I can find on the web say to try it again. I tried 3 more times with the same error. What's next? Thank you.

Hi everyone, Before the latest update, I was able to connect to my client's server and upload my files just fine. Now, I'm having an issue connecting to my client's server. I'm receiving the notices in the screenshots below. I, nor my client changed anything in the server from the time I initially uploaded my files to the time updated the app and needed to make edits and upload again. Can anyone provide me with guidance on how to remedy this issue? Thanks so much!!! 😊😊😊 

Hey, does anybody else have this offset shadow with Dreamweaver on Windows or is it just me? It's like that for a few years now and I don't know if it's just normal (though it looks ugly) or has something to do with settings. Having this on all my Windows computers though:

Hello!Sorry for my noob question, but iam new at dreamweaver and iam new at web dev. I just wanted to ask you guys, if it is normal, that my dreamweaver is very hard lagging while scrolling. In other programs, it is not for example brackets. And its not my pc, i have a 3.5k € pc. Can someone help me if it is normal or not ?

The about screen for DW was confusing to me (it has numbers in 2 places) so I just screenshotted that and added it here to this post so you know which version I'm on.Mac OS Catalina 10.15.5The subject pretty much describes the entire issue.  The only thing I'd add is that "appears ok" means the asterisks next to the file names/tabs appear when new changes appear and go away when I save the file, but when I actually open the file in other programs, or re-open DW the changes are lost!How can I begin troubleshooting this?  

I want to add horizontal space between 2 images that are side by side on the webpage. Right now they are touching one another.Any help appreciated... 

I am building a flash slideshow in Dreamweaver 8. I have followed online tutorials on how to do this, but I cannot figure out how to batch-insert the files for my show at "imageURLs" in the Flash element. Obviously, inserting each file individually would be ridiculous since there are over 100; I am sure I am missing something obvious. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 and I use Yahoo Servers (Aabaco) and can no longer connect to the servers with Dreamweaver's FTP to update my website. They now require an FTPS and TLS 1.2 connection. From what I read on the forums CS6 will not be updated to make the TLS 1.2 connection. My question is does Dreamweaver CC support TLS 1.2?

I have an old site I support with dreamweaver CS4. The site seems to have a root folder problem. The links have seemed to have all changed to my document folder and I keep getting an error message that the files aren't in my root folder, but they definitely are.  I am wondering how I can make sure that the links point to the root folder and not my documents folder.  How can I change my root folder. Also should the root folder set up, should the links be relative to the document or site root? The site is very old, and is getting buggy. I am trying to convince the group to upgrade!!!Thank You in advance for any help.  

Hello, all, I've had to get a new laptop from work, and have installed Adobe CC 2018 on it.  When using Dw, I keep getting these "feature popups" that are driving me up a wall.  Please see image.  How do I get these annoying things to stop appearing?? V/r, ^ _ ^
