I new to DreamWeaver and I am trying to create a new Bootstrap 4 site in Dreamweaver CC 19.1 on an iMac (Mojave 10.14.4). In Site Management I click on New Site -  Name: Test-  Folder: Desktop > New Folder: Test > Create > Select the new folder and click on Choose- Under Advanced Settings: Bootstrap version defaults to 4.2.1- Click on SaveWith the root of the new site selected - File > New > select HTML- in the Framework panel under BootStrap- Select Create new > Customize > change columns from 12 to 6 (or change any screen size setting) > click on CreateAt this point a Bootstrap message popup appears "Cannot create a new document as Bootstrap customization failed. Try again or click here for troubleshooting."Unfortunately the "click here" link only gives a 404 error message.Any idea what I'm doing wrong or how to resolve this error?Thank you very much,Jim

I've looked at these two tutorials on how to use the extract function to import a PSD into Dreamweaver.How to extract assets from PSD files into Dreamweaver web pages Grab web design info from Photoshop files | Both of them show the code window as populated with html code when the file is extracted, before any action is taken to copy individual bits of code. When I upload and extract a PSD file, the code in the html document I'm extracting to doesn't change. Am I missing something?Kayte

Hello,I am writing to you for assistance. I have made a site in adobe Muse 2017 CC and wanted to advertise it with google adwards. But chrome is blocking it because Muse uses synhronic loading the script or scripts with "document.write()" (here is the link to an article: Intervening against document.write()  |  Web  |  Google Developers ). Because of this, ADwords bots can not correctly scan my site. They see the link to page with error 404, (CDN inquiry was blocked). Google can not promote sites with 404 links. Hi,I am following a Tutorial do customize a Bootstrap site. At a certain point, I try to center a responsive image by using the center-block class, exactly the way it is done in the Tutorial. But it does not work. Follow a print screen of the code, everything seems to be correct, but the image is not centered. Any ideas on what could be the problem?bestMarcus

Hi,I am working in codeview. The text I am formatting happens to be scientific info that includes things like this:  (incidence <2%) are nausea,......OK, so the '<' causes me to get the error message: special characters must be escaped, and so that text won't render on the page properly.What do I need to do for it to view this as readable text and not code?Does escape mean backslash? - taking a guess... so it would be /<2% in my code?Thank you.

I need to present facsimile copies of articles I've written, with clickable links, on my portfolio webpage.The approach that seems likeliest to work is imagemaps in svgs, because the hyperlink retains its position on the image as the image responds to different screen sizes.Using svgs, I've succeeded in making responsive images with links, embedded in another page. Now my problem is to make those links trigger a javascript plugin (Floatbox) that presents overlays.The overlays are important, because they're my best option for keeping readers on the page. I don't want them opening new pages to read a footnote. Hi, Im not sure what type of plugin NOWTV use to create this (photo attached below)At the top,it has a side scroll and when you click on the links it loads as a tab bar on each section.I'm not sure if there is a plugin similar to this I could use or best way to create this?(On desktop I'm planning to have 5 images - tablet 4 images and Mobile 2 images per line)Any thought would be most helpful ThanksTim

I am building a new website for a client. I will need to transfer the domain name to a new reseller account, created by me, but I don't want the current site to go down because there is a lot of content to scrape, especially in the way of downloadable files.Should I just build the site locally before transferring the domain to the new registrar? Or should I contact the present registrar to make sure the domain name won't get decoupled from the current website just because it is transferred to a new registrar?

I have Windows 7 on my laptop, and will until December.  I have Dreamweaver 3.0 inbound.  I need to know if I can successfully install it on Windows 7.  How about 10?Why 3.0?  It was cheep.  I am not an advanced web programmer.  DW 3.0 has more than I need at this stage. My current skills include intermediate HTML and entry Java.  I'd like to experiment with CSS.  PHP and ASP are somewhere a year down the road, maybe more.

Just like the adaptive pictures on my website. I already know how to use media queries, and the goal is to set the video to become completely adaptive on resolutions lower than 1000px. I put about 7 divs inside a container div. Everything lines up OK in all the search engines except Microsoft Edge, where some divs are pushed outside the container. Does anyone have any advice?

I know this is an old problem affecting an old version of Dreamweaver but it has just hit me and any solution would be extremely welcome.I have been using the Mac version of Dreamweaver CS4 v.10 for some years on several web projects. I have recently had to upgrade my Mac OS from Sierra 10.12.5 to Mojave 10.14.4. I now find that on trying to launch DW I get an alert titled “Licensing for this product has stopped working” with an error number 150: 30. After dismissing the alert the program continues to load and will display the site briefly before it exits. I have found a procedure for correcting the licensing problem on Adobe help (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html) but the Flexnet Publisher folder which should be deleted does not exist in my Preferences folder.Is there any fix for this? I recognise that in the longer term I will have to find a permanent solution as DW CS4 will cease to run under OS X because of not being a 64 bit applicatio

This one is a little off-topic but still web-related : I'm looking to transfer scanned copies of sensitive documents via web. So they're images of documents, rather than actual text documents (in other words, without OCR, you can't guess the contents). Same issue here.I can get a live preview of the index.php file.But if I want to change a file in the child theme for example single-portfolio.php I get the "dynamically related files could not be resolved because of an internal server error." message.

Dreamweaver 2018have spent a week and rebuilt Windows 10 Pro twice.installed mySql, Apache24, myphpAdmin, all function. created a database with table no problem.have install database extensions.when i click + for new recordset fill in the form and click Select for the database, i get the error.your php server doesn't have the mysql module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect functions.this question is all over the web with no answers.thanks for any help,tom

I'm not sure which of the pages in displaying the correct format between the following two.Home Page orPokémon 0025 - Pikachu on a smaller screen, there are social media "share buttons" that are placed at the top for testing purposes. On the first page they are notably bigger than the second page.The entire style for these buttons are being called through an ssi and there is no difference between the code on any of these pages. I've looked for <div> errors, but I couldn't find anything out of place or different between the two pages.The style is set to 4em, but again, I do not know which one is displaying the buttons correctly.Basically, I just want the buttons to look the same on all of my pages, naturally. I just need helping figuring out the problem.This one is confusing one, because both pages are calling the same exact code through server side includes.Thank you for any help.

Is it possible that dreamweaver 19.1 requires Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 10 Anniversary Update version 1607 and there is not the possibility to use with Windows 8.1?I have an update Windows 8.1 but I can't install this version.Thanks to all
