I haven't been able to open Dreamweaver in over 2 weeks.  I click on the application to open it, but nothing opens.  When I check my task manager, it shows that the program is running but I'm unable to access it.  I have uninstalled it and re-installed it from the Adobe website twice, and I'm still not able to open the application.  I was using it fine for several weeks before this started happening.  I am running Windows 7.  Any help would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.

How to fixed this error ? When I try make connect Mysql to provider the recordsetyour PHP server doesn´t have the Mysql module loaded or you can´t use the mysql_(p) connect functions

I am new to using Dreamweaver. I have started to use bootstrap and on there site I have noticed the latest version of the software is bootstrap-4.1.3.Is there away to add this to dreamweaver cc and if so how do I do this?The reason I want the latest version is bootstrap-4.1.3 has got some new templates which I would like to be able to use when creating my siteMany thanksTim

My biggest problem with all DW-versions since 2013 was opening a page. Sometimes it opens to the page I want to see + the code. But just as often I get a blank page + the code. Since it happens in all those DW-versions I think I am doing something wrong. I click on view>split>code+design. And again. Or code + live. And again and again and so on. Sometimes suddenly the page appears and I can work in it, but just as often I have to shut DW down after innumerable clicks and get myself a bar of chocolate and I kick something or other and resign myself to not working on the website today. Hopefully another day it will work. Or not. It is the reason I still work in DW 2013. Just to stay sane.Whatever I click, the green V is next to code+live. Which seems to be because it is a responsive page and 'design' cannot work with it anymore in the versions after 2013. But the times when it suddenly starts to show, my last click was always on code+design. Maybe I will feel dumb again when I hear

Solved - Missing UI at startup, re: Dreamweaver CC 2019 build 11193Windows 7 PCThe ProblemRecently updated to Dreamweaver CC 2019 but at startup the entire screen was missing the familiar menus and buttons. The only items that rendered on the screen were the active Window icons to close, minimize or expand the window.Tried restarting PC, uninstalling and reinstalling Dreamweaver. Checked graphic card drivers. Also ran Adobe's CC cleaner. But this failed to correct the problem. Work-Around By luck, I tried resizing the window to half screen and the entire Dreamweaver UI suddenly reappeared. Going back then to full-screen, everything rendered correctly. When closing out all the files and shutting down Dreamweaver and then restarting, the problem reappears. This is probably a simple question. Is it possible to set Dreamweaver to add a extra, indented line when I press enter between opening and closing html tags? Such as, say I am entering a table. I enter the following:    <table></table>Right now, if I press enter between the tags, I get the following:    <table>    </table>What I would like to get is:    <table>        Indent to here    </table>I would like this to happen with any tags. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but you never know unless you trie.I placed an OAM file in my html document. I want to know if it is possible to activate a function within that OAM file with script in the Dreamweaver HTML file. And when it is possible how do I do this?If this is the wrong place to ask, does anyone know where to ask this question?

I have an issue with an inserted image inside a cell not taking up the full height. If you look at the first screenshot taken in Design mode, the image appears to fill the whole cell. But the second screenshot taken in Live mode, the image doesn't fill the cell height-wise. If in Design mode I try to drag the image's handle down, all it does is increase the height of the cell. It seems as if there is maybe a piece of code that is preventing the image to fully fill the cell and I'm not code savvy enough to figure it out. i created a menu slide in using on hover..ANDY LILIEN | DOP i want the menu to slide in only hovering the dashed lines..the problem is when you move your mouse away that div is smaller than the menu and the menu slides off..if i make parent div and include the menu then you'll get the menu sliding in when you havent rolled over the dashes--any thoughts?

I finally get the hang (a tiny bit) of the newer Dreamweaver. The versions up to 2018 were a disaster for me, so I still work in version 13.0. It seems the 2018 version is for the first time one which is set up in a way which aligns (somewhat) with my brain. In CC I can open two pages, make them both fill half of the space and copy-paste between them. In DW 2018 I find no half-size or minimize buttons. Is it possible and how - or not at all??

It's only .png's I'm having problems with getting Dreamweaver (CC 2017) to accept.I can't drag a png from my comp folder into design view. I have to manually add it to my code.

Hello, I am a beginner at HTML coding creating my first website. I have created a home page layout in Photoshop which includes a right column with several buttons that I want to be hyperlinks to the other pages of the site. The layout was sliced and exported into Dreamweaver. I understand how to make hyperlinks, but I cannot figure out how to1. Place the hyperlink where the image is, and make its clickable boundary the same as the image, so you can click on any part of the button for it to work.2. Hide the hyperlink so the only thing that's visible is the image on that section of the layout.This picture I have attached describes the location of the button on the layout. I loved F12, but I know it's no longer used to upload and preview in a single step.All I want to be able to do is see a file on the server. The real server, not a live preview or a local file. Make a minor change, hit a key, see it live. Wasted so much time on this I went back to DreamWeaver CS6 for simple edits.If I right click on the file name in the files list (on remote server) and click "Open in Browser" it opens the index file every time - not the file I selected. If I right-click on the file tab and preview in browser, I get a display of the local file (file:///G:/Websites/whatever/test.html). Hello, I would like to have two home pages. One version for desktop and one for mobile. I DO NOT WANT A RESPONSIVE WEBSITE. I want to identify on version of a page to be for desktop and one for mobile. Kinda like Muse use too. www.sitename/home and www.sitename/home/phone. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you.

I am using DW CC on Windows 10. My co- designer has all of the content pages from a website that was previous  written in Drupal. I created a template for the pages in DW. We are in two different geographic locations. I uploaded the template to the server, they applied the template at their location and uploaded the pages. Then decided they wanted a change in the template. I have made changes to the template and uploaded it again. There are several hundred pages involved. Is there any other way for these pages to be updated other than A) they download new template reapply it and upload the updated pages or B) me to download all pages apply the template and upload the updated pages?

I began with Dreamweaver 2017 a few days ago, and I have a question.Preview in Primary Browser.  This works well, but I get a preset title: 'Real Time Preview.'By right-clicking on a file, from the list of files, I get the un-prepared title  I am looking for.   I cannot find this option anywhere in Keyboard Shortcuts, so it's not possible to use it.  And on my Mac I can't get opt-F12 to work in any case.So where can I find 'Open in Browser' so I can assign keys to it.Thanks

I'm testing out adding an animation I made in Animate CC to my website. I have followed all the instructions for publishing in Animate CC as well as adding the .oam file to the website, but it is not working. The file previews in Dreamweaver, but it does not show up when viewing on any web browser.
