Can anyone out there help with a tech issue on my Dreamweaver CS5 created website?www.stevecoelho.co.ukI'm an artist and my website is my online gallery which is a very straitforward, basic, static-page-links-to-static-pagetype of website - nothing fancy.I'm strictly non-techie, so I learned just enough to create my simple website which has been running for a few years nowwithout any problems.About once or twice a year I add new work as I did last Friday.I check and double check 'Preview in Browser' to make sure all links are working before uploading to my host server.But when I checked the website 'live' on Safari (and also Firefox to confirm) after uploading I found that a section (which I hadn't even touchedor altered in any way) was not working properly.The section marked 'head' on the home page menu is the problem bit.Click on it and you go to a page of 12 thumbnail images but when you click on any thumbnail to enlarge the image, thelink is broken - a blank page comes on screen wi

Is there an easy / simple way to make Dreamweaver stop rewriting my code?I have an input, it looks like this:<cfinput type="text" id="txtIID" name="txtIID" value="#txtIID#" class="form-control" disabled="#isDisabled#">The file saves fine as is with that proper format, but when I close the file and open it back up again, Dreamweaver rewrites that input to look like this:<cfinput type="text" id="txtIID" name="txtIID" value="#txtIID#" class="form-control" disabled>This might not be an issue if I had just the one. I could probably rewrite it by hand each time. Unfortunately there are about 4 dozen inputs on the page.I've already looked into Dreamweaver's Preferences/ Code rewriting and Linting options and those don't seem to have an affect upon this issue.Is there somewhere else I should be looking to turn off this behavior?

This just started happening yesterday. I tried the "fix" suggested here but it doesn't work, unless I have done it incorrectly, which is possible.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing is working. When I click on OK it just closes down.

I just updated a site that I have had online for years. Now for some reason the images, style sheet, etc now show a path to my local computer rather to the files uploaded to the webhosting. The only thing showing is the basic html text. All these files show today's date in the uploaded files.Could I have accidentally clicked on something either in Dreamweaver or File Zilla that redirected the path?This is rather urgent, I really need to fix the issue.

No uploaded cs3 edits at the server will update my page edits.. Every page I edit at the local site will not be edited at the remote site when uploaded. The remote server says I am always connected but no edits happen on the remote site. does this sound like a dreamweaver problem or does it sound like a server problem.-Michael

Hello,I have created an html form that is designed to do two things - submit form information to a specified email address and redirect users to another page on the site. I created a .php form to manage these actions. I got to a point where the redirect was successful, but the email was not. In attempting to fix this, the form now does neither... Getting an error when trying to install the update:“AdobePatchInstaller.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.Dreamweaver will not open even after several tries, have opened Photoshop without problem in the meantime.Have also restarted machine, and tried to open Dreamweaver first, without success.Have searched online for a solution, found others with similar problem but no suggested solution works (Direct download of Updater from Adobe, opening /tmp folder and reading amt3.log, even looked at Adobe Cleaner, which did not seem to provide a definite solution to immediate problem).Need to use Dreamweaver on a new project, will delay if solution not found pronto.

I am redesigning my logo as well as my website and was thinking of going with a black (or near-black) background. It seems that black backgrounds are more suitable for design- or arts=related sites, even if they make reading a bit more difficult and can feel a bit oppressive. I have also noticed that all photography looks better with a dark background and this is of course vital for showing off your portfolio.

I don't have a great deal of experience in this area only having put up a handful of embedded youtube videos.What is a realistic size, in mb, a 5min mp4 file should make?I've just been given a 520mb file which the client wants to stream on their website.
