I am sorry for the general title, I have no idea how to describe this problem. Also sorry for the picture of me, I could not screen cap this. About 1/10th of the time I open up a file and it doesn't display. Instead what I seem to get is a graphics error.This is my work computer and it is a 2009 with mismatched RAM (yes I know) so I think it's probably too old, but this is nearly making my workflow grind to a halt at least 4 times a day. The o only way to prevent or stop it is to quit DW and restart.Does anyone else have this problem?

I am having a problem with Dreamweaver (new user) that I can't seem to solve.Having problem that in the pages I am building if I put in an external link to http://www.google.com and select it to view in an external browser the URL that shows in the browser is    "http://127.0.0.1:60882/preview/app/index.html"    which is the URL that the live device preview link sent to my iPhone, something else that not is working.Any suggestion on how to proceed is welcomed....

Attached are a few screenshots of what i am referring to.I am needing to make an email for my boss to send out to clients. However, I am VERY new to dreamweaver. I know, not ideal to start here but no other choice.... So i want the social media icons and the phone number and website to be flush with the header, as it is in Fireworks, however, there is just this strange white margin between them, and it looks to be in the table that the header image is in. Tried to change the colspan/rowspan and that just moves everything else around.I have td img {display: block;} in the top of the coding.I have watched every youtube video there is. Googled every possible thing i could think of.H E L P.Thank you in advance for any input/suggestions!!!

Hi, I'm building a new website and I'm really stuck. I built a product data base using php my admin and xampp. I successfully connected the site to the server but when I access it on google, it shows up that the site is not there. I think there is an error in my code but I can't figure out what. I'm trying to make an e-commerce site and this is so difficult. Can someone please tell me what is wrong. I think the error is in my action.php. Hi, I’m looking to create a video gallery on a webpage, same manner as an image gallery, where there would be one main viewing section for a video to play in and thumbnails beneath it to click on to launch different videos. Couldn't see any tutorials on how to do this exactly, the videos are a mix of MP4s and a couple of YouTube links – I’m used to working in the CS5 version of Dreamweaver, so would it be easier to use the newer version of Dreamweaver to do this, and if I do would that mean having to create alternate versions of the MP4 videos for HTML5 coding purposes? There is a version of what I’m looking to do on here https://codecanyon.net/item/html5-video-gallery-with-live-playlist/490139 with a main window and horizontal playlist underneath but would be nice to create it myself, depending on how involved a process it would be?!Thanks!

I have a reference manual that was created in Dreamweaver and I wanted to know if it could be converted into another program to edit and post. I believe the program was built in html. However, I am trying to save money by not getting training on writing code for the web version.

Using windows 8. Ever since I downloaded 2017.5 I have one major and one minor issue that ultimately make DW unusable.1) Starting dreamweaver creates a node.exe process which *kills* my high-end system for several minutes. I can't do anything on the system for several minutes after opening dreamweaver2) Alt-tabbing into dreamweaver now has a few seconds of delay every time. So if you work flow is "Edit, save, alt-tab, refresh, alt-tab back to DW" You end up waiting several seconds waiting for DW each time you alt-tab into it. This seems related to the git integration - I use git on every project I work on, but I wish I could disable that integration if it means DW is going to studder and pause for between 300 and 2000ms every time I alt tab into it.The work around I've found is to close DW, kill all node.exe proceses, and rename "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017\node" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017\node_disabled".I've done some basic process analys

I am still confused on which to use. Basically I want a user to be able to pick multiple selections with at least one selection REQUIRED. I  love the radio button but I read only one selection can be picked. But then I read that the checkmark allow multiple selections but it allows user not to select atleast one ( is this true?) - I am trying to avoid the Dropdown list but does it seem like my only choice? - Also can I accomplish this using individual radio buttons instead of the radio button group? I have over 25 selections. Thanks for your help.

I am looking for some general advice about which Adobe product would be best for my project. I've used Adobe for years and and know there must be an easy way to accomplish my goals using one of the tools- I'm hoping someone with experience can give me some tips.I'm trying to build an interactive video with chapters. Not timeline markers, but actual graphic chapters visible to the left of the video. Do I take the coding route with Dreamweaver or muse or something, or does Captivate offer this ability (not part of creative cloud I realize). I considered using Animate but don't think it can handle the video as well, and it seems that Premier does not offer this ability. Looking for any ideas about the best way to approach this. Thanks!

Hi, we created a mobile-ready eDM, when we sent to our sales, it looks correct, but once the sales forward to their customers through Outlook, it looks way different from what the original looks like.  I Googled on-line, Mailchimp mentioned to create a "Forward to a friend" link instead to using Outlook.  It that correct?  Is there any other solutions besides signing up Mailchimp?

Hi i've recentlu updated my website wedding-cars-glasgow.com using my old dreamweaver cs3 but I'm unsure if I can use code to make it mobile friendly (i haven't built a site in years so I'm not uotodate with mobile friendly creation) I've not got the money to pay a developer a monthy charge to update it for me, is there a site where I could learn to do this for myself just as a one off  to make my site mobile friendlythanks Alice

I keep getting the same error repeatedly and I can't figure out what the problem is. For each of these entries I get the same error, saying that special characters must be escaped, and showing a tag open symbol, but I have no extra open tags that I can see. I need a fresh pair of eyes. The error on line 287 is the same, but it shows the closing tag as being the issue.Can anyone spot the trouble?

MB ProOS 10.12xDreamweaver CC 2017Opened legacy site, CS6, via open in CC 2017 and re-saving. (All seems well although the many changes prompts relearning what I thought I knew.)However, I have noticed a very faint read through of the responsive grid columns showing through a background image, and have not found a way to simply change view. Is there a way to negate that, or should I reimport the site using a different method, other than just a simple open the CS6 site using DW CC?Thank You,JSatt

how can I reinstall dreamweaver on new laptop. lost program disc. program is still on old compromised computer

Trying to conect my Dreamweaver with Wordpress. I am using MAMP. The Wordpress site is setup and works locally. I created a "new site" in Dreamweaver, named my site, showed where my wordpress site was located. Then in Servers i created a new "Testing server" with the correct URL, and folder location in my Htdocs. In advanced I have the PHP and MySQL selected. after this I saved and I was done. Opened my Index.php in the root folder. I could see my site but "dynamically related files could not be resolved". So i tried the Index.php that was in my theme Folder, still "dynamically related files could not be resolved". Not sure if I missed a step but I cant seem to find any answer as to what I need to do to resolve this.

Hi there! I'm using Dreamweaver CC, v2017.5 at the latest update. I used to be able to find/replace a string within a selection---select PART of a page, hit ⌘F, put my search string in the top field and my replace string in the field below it, and Replace-all---which would conduct the search and replace JUST within the area that I had selected. I cannot locate that function now. It's not in the dropdown:It is not in one of the submenus of one of those, either, that I can find.  Is it gone forever?

Hi,I am using bootstrap yet i cannot see glyphicons from GLYPHICONS.com e.g.: <div class="myPanel-heading">products <span class="glyphicon glyphicons-pictures" aria-hidden="true"></span></div>is this included in dw bootstrap or were glyphicons removed?

When I double click a php variable to highlight it and copy ad paste the '$' part of the variable does not get selected, so the paste creates an error. I had the same problem in the version before 2017 but they fixed it in 2017 and now it's back. Even when clicking and dragging my cursor over a variable name often the '$' does not get selected. Is this a bug?

I have installed the Adobe Server behaviour extension with CC. I am using third party extensions for mysqli. When I go to bindings panel it show my recordsets and I can use the recordsets from that panel. When I try to use the bindings in a third party extension they are pop up boxes are disabled as seen in the photo below. Any elp would be appreciated.

I have 2 sites that are associated with my business, and one of them I need to change the email on. I have dreamweaver cc on my computer and the files from both sites loaded on to. Now how do i change the email? if anyone can help with this that would be very much appreciated.
