Hello,I am receiving a strange syntax error writing JavaScript in Dreamweaver CS6 (version 12).for (let i of this.roomItems) {  }for some reason it is saying line 1 is a syntax error, but this doesn't seem right. I think perhaps the syntax definitions maybe out of date, but I can't figure out how to update it for the more modern JavaScript code.I really like Dreamweaver, but I'm about ready to switch to a different software if I can't resolve this, so please let me know how get Dreamweaver to understand things like "let" and "of". thanks!

I can afford Dreamweaver at 49.99 a month now but I am going to be retiring soon.  Am I able to keep Dreamweaver on my computer?   I realize I would not be getting updates.

whenever I try to open up a new site nothing comes up on the screen and I'm not to familiar with dreamweaver and I don't understand why it is not opening. I've tried creating 3 new sites to see what will happen but none are opening. Also I am on PC.

Hello,I am having an issue which I cannot determine the reason for.  I don't want to make any changes until I understand why this is happening.I have 2 web hosting accounts with GoDaddy with the following information:www.myerschimney.comwww.toddglosser.ca/01MYERSCHIMNEYBoth urls have the exact same file structure and contents which I built in Dreamweaver. I have a menu built which is using Spry-UI-1.7.   The www.myerschimney.com is working fine and has been for awhile now.  I originally built this website 5 years ago.  I want to now move it over to a folder on the other web hosting account at www.toddglosser.ca/01MYERSCHIMNEYI am getting these errors when I launch the site from www.toddglosser.ca/01MYERSCHIMNEYI have traced it down to code in the SpryMenu.js and SpryMenuBarKeyNavigationPlugin.js which reads:I am thinking that maybe the one host server which is older does not like the Spry version I am using but I am not sure.  Has anyone seen this before?&

Hello,I just upgraded to DW CC 2017 for the pc. I use DW as an html text editor for editing ebooks. My previous DW was CS3 and I loved it. The file I'm having problems with contains audio and this relates to the control. In CS3 all the audio components showed. When I work on the same files in CC 2017, the code is missing. I do a find and replace, update the code and save. When I go back to the html file to make additional changes, the code disappears.Here is a sample:<p class="audio-tour"><audio class="audio1" id="audio1" src="audio/01_HistoricParisWalk.mp3" controls><strong>Please note: to hear these audio tours, your device must support embedded audio.</strong></audio>I find and replace:controls> with controls="controls">and add </p> after </audio>Validation fails without these codes. I can't keep replacing this code for every file, every time. Is this a bug? Is this something missing in  my settings? Any suggestions would be great

Trying to troubleshoot the error we are getting when trying to copy a file from local files to the remote server in Dreamweaver CS6. See below for error message. Unsure what is causing this error. I am making a website for my company. I am using my personal server as the testing server. The website is located at playground.mywebsite.com/TestHow do I complete the site setup so that I only sync that directory with my local files. Meaning, I do not want it to download the full site including the public_html and every other thing in it. I just want the "Test" folder so it is not taking a long time to download and wasting space on my computer.Thanks.

I get an error suddenly when I save template (and attempt to update other pages):There is an error at line 12, column 15 (absolute position 622) of "my local site template file": Bad syntax in a template comment, e.g. unbalanced quotes or missing attribute value.So I am unable to update pages based on this template. Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017 has stopped workingA problem cause the program to stopped working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.I already uninstalled and reinstalled this program and I need this program to work right now.

i deleted everything else related to adobe off the computer bc i thought it would remove it but i guess im in a worse place now since i cant even touch it. If i interact w it it tells me to open updater. But i deleted that. is there any way to go about this through files or is it just going to be stuck there forever? ;/

When I am in design view, I can not scroll through my page. It lags a tone and gives you crazy broken imagery some times. I saw that others are having this problem. I even tried uninstalling DW. But could not find a way to install an older version of DW.

Hi there.I'd like to report a bug in Dw.The presentation of the content of an HTML newsletter is not consistent across Dw's live view and MS Outlook. The content looks fine in Dw live view, but it's not in Outlook. Outlook is the means is sending off and displaying the newsletter, so this is where it has to look right.I've got screen shots, but it's private newsletter. Happy to pass the shots on some one internal, but to open forums.Can any one help?Cheers,Matthew.

recursive loop problemI recently changed servers but when i type my URL into the address bar totalrestitution.com i get redirected to totalrestitution.com/totalrestitution.com/index.Is there some type of a setting that I can adjust to fix this problem? Hi Everyone,I maintain a website for our non-profit society. We are working towards building a museum and we would like to start taking pictures of our artifacts and putting them on our site. Unfortunately I'm an IT Analyst, not a web designer. I took over the site to save money and utilize Dreamweaver CS3. Does anyone know of a good template for a page that I can use in order to display our artifacts? If anyone wants to look at the site it is http://www.penholdbase.ca. Is there anyone who can tell me if the HTML-code that is rendered when exporting for FXL-epub can be influenced?I have a peculiar issue: I am using the German characte ü (u-umlaut) on several spots in a text. On some spots in the tekst it is no problem, but on some spots the style attribute <text-rendering:optimizeLegibility;> is added. This causes problems: about 2 characters before and 2 character after the ü-position get completely scrambled 😞I would like to control this export in a way that this text-rendering attribute is not exercised.Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi All,This post is sort of a follow-up to a previous post, and sort of a new post; so I posted it new.I have php coding to allow an image of a graph to be published dynamically. I am have trouble figuring the structure of the 'array/for' language.The address is http://www.improveworkplaceefficiency.com/diab/. Just hit the Select Button as all of the pertinent choices are pre-selected.The graph is based on a long, algebraic function for a bell curve for x = range of 0 to 150.The answer.php page has a lot of debugging equations and coding. In the answer.php page, I ran equations for x = 0 and x = 75 and they both were good so I suspect the math and its coding are good.
