So Spry is gone in DW CC. Spry of course made deploying menus very quick and easy. Does anyone have any suggestions for an equivalent tool for menus using Jquery? Thanks

i am trying to implement  rollover type image(s) on a basic webpage!Scenarioa picture of an illustration, where there is a car... I give a color pallet though and the visitor is able to mouse over the pallet. as doing so the image changes to match (mouseover) color... say a white car, they run the mouse over the blue on the pallet and the image is now a blue car. If that is what they want to select... they click on it and the default image is now a BLUE car... etc etc... with approx 40 colors to choose from...  i cant figure it out, i tried it in Flash and it worked well, but is a ton of work incorporating all image variations into it.,Im hoping there is an easier way to do it in standard page formats..I guess very similar to ford and gm sites, where you build your car and it changes images for youAnyone have any idea?..I am using Dreamweaver CC2017thanks in advance!!

I have tried to do the above to no avail.  I liked the ability to use the split code, etc.  But liked (and became familiar) with the Dreamweaver CS6 workspace.  What can I do to mimic the old workspace that I loved so much?   Thanks, Tripp

I have an issue with a site I am working on, all the details store ok, however once I close the app and reopen Dreamweaver, I can no longer connect to the remote server that I am working on. Checking the remote site details panel shows that the site username and password are blank, and I have to reenter them again. It's not a major deal as I am only working on one site currently, but if I was working on more that one it would become a real pain!Any ideas why this is happening - is it a bug?I am using the following:Dreamweaver CC 2017.0.1 ReleasePlatform: OSX 10.10.5ThanksMarcoBTW I am really loving the new code theme: Raven Dark - it makes my code look really clear and beautiful

Hi Adobe,I had the same issue , now its fixed. how ever i have notice some of tools are not visible they used to be, example some of css properties like float left or right are not visible after u click them. I have a windows 10 pc. Whenever i try to open Dreamweaver or Photoshop cc, my computer says: "Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2017 has stopped working". I have tried to uninstall Dreamweaver CC, and restarted my computer multiple times. My pc only lets me close it after its open. What can i do to make it work again?

I am currently trying to host my website on Go Daddy through cPanel. I uploaded my files (css and html) on cPanel but when I double click on the pages to make them appear online, their format is completely wrong and doesn't look like the Dreamweaver format at all. I called their help service and they told me that I had to ask Dreamweaver to put my files through FTP but I don't really know what that means. Could someone help me with that? Thank you!

In this page the picture has a footnote "Archive: 416 In 2016 with granddaughter"  and I want some space of 150px to follow it before the Archive: and Birth, Marriage and Death content appear.  To insert this space between the content and the blue Archive: section I use my spacer CSS rule which just defines a margin on the top of the Archive section of 150px but as we can see from the image below the spacer is not pushing the Archive section down, but for some reason it looks like it's extending up and under the floated picture - but earlier in the code I have a clear_float which should stop that.  Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? many thanks - The page is at http://v28.ancestry.higgsy.co.uk/higgs_barbara.php

Hello there, I've just downloaded dw 2017. In the css when I pass the mouse over a color as for example #CCCCCC, I can't see the preview color in the usual little box. In dw 2015 I could. Many friends of mine have dw 2017 and they can see the preview color, why cannot I?!Thank you in advance

It started Wednesday and I thought it was just a combination of other apps so I did not worry about it. It happened yesterday, and again, maybe it was because of....  But when it happened today, with no other apps open, and I have ran many other apps while running Dreamweaver, I realized there is a problem.After working on a file, when there are many other files open in the Dreamweaver window, the one i work on after awhile freezes.  Cursor stops, the highlight or what ever activity was happening stays, even the tips window stays.  I can go and work on another file by clkicking a different pane. even save all files.I can close the file with the x in the ab, but I cannot get access back to the file inside the code.

This feature may be available in current versions of Dreamweaver (I'm still stuck with CS4), but I have noticed that when updating CSS rules for Media Queries, I have to constantly look at the initial CSS rules to see their current property: value (and to see which rules are already set so that I am not tempted to rewrite the same properties in the media query). For example, if I have a div with a width of 50%, when I am writing a media query, I would like to know the current value of that property without having to find/open the original CSS rule (usually in another file). As I am typing the width property of the media query css rule, I would like a little hint window to pop up that shows the current value. I would imagine this is a current feature (if not, it should be), but are there any add-ons for older versions of Dreamweaver?Thanks.

Dreamweaver CC 2017 slowDreamweaver CC 2017: the slowest and full of bug version since 1998I'm using DW since first Macromedia version; Today, new version Dreamweaver CC 2017, on my iMac 27 Retina i5 3,3 Ghz with AMD Radeon R9 2Gb and 24Gb Ram, don't open any files in live view (previous Dreamweaver CC 2015 it is slow, but allows you to work): now, only code view.We are only beta tester: it is not fair to pay for this "old-coded" and never really upgraded software.

Images in Code View: Tooltip reads, 'Image not found', despite path ok and image ok in Design view. In past version, hovering over the Code View img src path would show image height and width. Can anyone assist how to properly reattach the Code View path to restore the image size/width on hover? Thank you.

I was watching Adobe's DW2017 tutorial on youtube and noticed that they have the toolbar at the top with the title bar, preview in browser earth and get/put buttons. I was under the impression that this no longer existed (which I am absolutely dumbfounded as to why they would remove it if that is indeed the case). Does anyone know how to get the toolbar like in the screengrab from Adobe's own video?Thanks everyone and happy Friday!

Although the FTP web server connection to the host is correct (test connection o.k.) it is not possible to download files from the host sever to the local PC. The "error messeage" is: "Dreamweaver kann die Remote-Server-Zeit nicht ermitteln. Die Befehle zum Synchronisieren und Auswählen aktueller Dateien stehen nicht zur Verfügung".Perhaps it is possible to get a Dreamweaver update?Perhaps I have to use a SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protokoll which is not possible with my old dreamweaver version?Thank you for a feed-backManfred

Hi When using tables in design view, I keep getting a pop-up/tooltip during hover over cells and rows. It's pretty annoying because I can't see what's beneath the pop-up. Can this feature be disabled?This screenshot shows an example:

remote and testing server work fine once I put the user and password in the testing server info BUT when I close dreamweaverCC and then reopen it, the remote info is correct but the testing server info is also filled in except username and password which now a blank.I pressed save in the testing server settings and also pressed save before leaving site manager but once I close dreamweaverCC it will disappear again.Any help would be appreciated.Phil
