The pointer in Illustrator keeps shaking when I have Photoshop open. It's very hard to work like this. I'm using a Macbook pro M1 2021 (Monterey) V12.6

Hi @Pedro S Adrio,

We are sorry for the trouble. Many users have reported this issue, and it is a very old issue which we are unable to replicate in-house. Would you mind sharing a few details:

  1. Screenshot of "About this Mac"
  2. Does this happen while working on a specific file or a particular tool/ effect?
  3. A small screen recording demonstrating the issue would be really helpful.
  4. The exact version of Illustrator
  5. Screenshot of the Edit > Colour settings & profile in which you are currently working (RGB or CMYK).
  6. Does closing PS resolve the issue?
  7. Does this happen intermittently or all the time?
  8. Are you using any custom cursor, or have you changed the cursor size from System preferences > Accessibility > Display > Pointer?
  9. Does turning off GPU preview cmd+e resolve the issue?
  10. Screenshot of the apps running in the background or simultaneously from the Activity monitor?
  11. Are you using an external display? If yes, what is the resolution & make and model of the monitor?

This info would be really helpful with the investigation. I will be looking forward to your response.

Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini
