can't see my indesign documents / page

  • I have indesign on 2 machines - at home and at work
  • both have a second screen attached to them and have till recently worked fine
  • the one at work seems to work fine when I open any existing indesign document - it appears on the screen and I can work on it as normal.
  • at home however, when i open the same file, or create a new document - I can't see the page !
  • this is only happening for indesign cc 2017 ... my other apps seem to work fine
  • Im not sure if it is something I can just reset as preference or if I should reinstall indesign - or if its something else altogether
  • when I minimise the windows, it is still not visible - I have tried searching my other 'desktops' too but can't see my page anywhere

hope this make sense - basically I can't get to my indesign documents or create new ones to work on them

please advise

thanks for your help in advance !

"Searching other desktops" must mean you are on Mac OS? What do you see instead? Did you try Window > Application Frame?
