Crashing when exporting interactive pdf from InDesign

I have two files that are 89 pages that include hyperlinks, buttons, and bookmarks. Only one of them crashes at the very end when I got to export the interactive pdf, the pdf does not finish saving. When I reopen the file it says it may be corrupted, it opens fine but wont ever save the interactive pdf again, instead I have to save an IDML file and reopen it (which does cause some minor changes, doesn't like masters applied to masters) then I can usually get one interactive pdf save out of it before it starts crashing again.

The other file is not having this issue, and saves an interactive pdf as many times as I would like. I am assuming something in the file has corrupted but I am not sure where to look. Any ideas? I have stripped the document of pages and tried saving to narrow down if it was a specific page but with no luck. I don't want to have to rebuild as there is a ton of work that goes into linking all the buttons and hyperlinks inside the document. Any suggestions would be great.

Using Adobe Indesign 13.0.1, macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Thanks.

I have a similar issue. I can export a PDF of my document (~120 pages) without hyperlinks, but as soon as I try to export with hyperlinks, InDesign crashes when the export is ~50% complete. I have InDesign 13.1 running on macOS 10.13.4 on a 2017 Macbook Pro (15" / 16GB RAM). Have been sending all my crash reports through to Adobe. Can easily replicate and share the crash log, as no matter how I adjust settings, as long as I want hyperlinks, program will crash. Any help would be appreciated.

Before you go any further you should patch the operating system. I believe High Sierra is now at 10.13.6.

Company IT issue, working it out now to get 13.1. It does look like that version had some fixes that might be causing my issue, will post update in case anyone else has this issue as well. Thanks Bob.

Kindly update the discussion if you need further assistance with it.
