InDesign prints blank pages on HP
Acrobat, Illustrator, and all other apps print without any issues.
The HP M806 printer driver sends jobs correctly to the local IP address, the printer app is installed, and all required settings are available. However, when printing from InDesign, the pages come out completely blank—no toner on the paper—while all other applications work normally.
Workaround:
Select “HP Universal Printing PS” as the printer in InDesign. This reroutes the job and does produce correct output. It is slower than printing normally, but still faster than exporting to PDF and printing from Acrobat.
