Question

Lost Creative Cloud projects

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working with my personal Adobe account, which was linked to my school’s education plan. I saved all my projects on Creative Cloud, assuming they would stay linked to my personal account.

Recently, my personal account was removed from the school’s plan since I’m no longer a student, and now all my projects have disappeared from Creative Cloud.

Is there any way to recover them? Were the projects tied to the school’s plan, or are they permanently lost?

Thanks in advance for any help!

If the plan you used was removed than so too were your files. FWIW, this is why have no interest in using Adobe's storage. I use Dropbox and OneDrive.

That said, If I'm misinterpreting what happened here please clarify the difference between the school's plan and yours.

Thank you for your reply,

Unfortunately, the steps in the article don’t work for my situation, as I didn’t have a separate school account. My school’s plan was linked directly to my personal Adobe account.

When logging in, I would use my personal credentials, and then I’d be asked whether I wanted to use my personal plan or my school’s plan. But both options were accessed from the same personal account, there was never a specific school account to transfer from.

That’s why I assumed my projects were linked to my personal account, since that’s the one I always used to log in.

Is there any way to recover the projects in this case?
