AppData files

In my AppData file on my laptop I found a file deep down inside named “Originals”. This file has a number of subfiles labelled 2001 to 2023 with my images for each year.  However, at this point they are consuming 500+ GB of my 1 terabit hard drive.  Can I delete these files without adversely affecting the performance of Lightroom Classic or Photoshop?

You posted this in the Lightroom Classic forum and asked about its impact on Lightroom Classic, but I am pretty sure that these are originals stored locally by Lightroom (desktop), not something done by Lightroom Classic. If you do not use Lightroom desktop (anymore) then you can delete them. If you do use Lightroom desktop as well, then change the storage settings in its preferences.

I think you are correct.  I'm planning on deleting one year and see what happens.

Thanks.

Tell us the full name and path of one of these files. Is the same folder shown in your Lrc folder panel?

C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\10926e88e3f04d3fad55a99b30649bb3\originals

Then it goes to year.  Can't find it uder Lightroom Program folder.

I asked for the name of one of the files in this folder.
