P: People Masking fails on Mac (Intel)

die Personenerkennung und Maskierung innerhalb Camera RAW 18.5.0.2673 funktioniert seit einigen Updates von Photoshop nicht mehr auf meinem Mac Pro 2019 mit einer AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB Grafikkarte und Mac OS 26.6.2 sowie Photoshop Version 27.9.1, auf einem MacBook Pro M1 jedoch mit der selben MacOS und Camera Raw Version  jedoch einwandfrei. Jahrelang hat das einwandfrei funktioniert und ist ein wichtiger Teil meines Arbeitsprozesses. Momentan muss ich nur für die Maskierung auf den Apple Silikon ausweichen, was ich als ärgerlich empfinde. Ist das Absicht, den immer noch völlig ausreichend leistungsstarken Mac Pro 2019 nicht mehr zu unterstützen?

So I haven't checked on these issue threads for a few months - I have just been letting my insanely expensive 2020 Intel Radeon iMac collect dust and editing on my Silicon MacBook… and I don’t love how users have just been able to comment “merge this thread” and it has been done, making a lot of my posting seemingly disappear and making all the replies A MESS. But what I am REALLY confused by, is how on earth is this marked ANSWERED?! 

Personally, my Intel is still Unable to find people. I am up to Tahoe 26.6.2 and CameraRaw 18.5.0.2673. Has anyone else seen a resolution to this issue? I am just not interested in using a workaround that involves dropping that disable GPU file into some folder that we had to use a few years back when we suffered through masking issues for almost a year. I just wanted to check in and see if there was a fix I missed that is accomplished by some other method than just having up to date software and what should be a very qualified computer. (Sorry is there is another thread out there somewhere… with all the merging of threads, I wasn’t interested in wasting time trying to search.) 

Also, I just checked in Lightroom Classic since that updated today also and same thing - no people found. I have also since scanned this thread a little bit more and just keep finding a bunch of comments that refer someone to a different thread but when you click it, it just comes back to this one.

Apple and AMD released a buggy graphics driver in Mac OS 26.3, and many people with Intel Macs have reported similar symptoms:

The only known workaround is to roll back to Mac OS 26.2, which is tedious:

I have been experienceing the sme issue for about two months. Support has told me twice that the next update will fix it and thats it. Theres been multile updates and still cannot detect people. Okay, so it now detects some people and when it does it will detect the person and some f the background. 

How can I fix this?

Having same issues. Attempted to fix by reverting to 15.4.1 but the issue persists. AI masking functionality and updating takes MUCH MUCH longer. Terrible.

Thank you for reporting these two issues. I'd like to help narrow down the cause for each one.
 

Regarding the Person detection in masks, to help our team investigate, could you share the following details:

• Copy & paste Lightroom system info (Help > System Info).

• Have you checked in Lightroom's Preferences > Performance whether Use Graphic Processor is set to "Auto" or "Custom"?
   

Regarding Photoshop not coming to the foreground:

• Which operating system version are you running?

• Do you have multiple monitors connected?

These details will help our product team investigate the issues.

Je suis la dernière Servion de LR. Je n’ai plus détection de personne dans les masques. Les autres masques fonctionnent normalement, la détection de “sujet” en particulier.

De plus plays, lorsque je passe sur PhotoShop, la fenêtre PS passait au premier plan automatiquement. Avec la dernière version, la fenêtre LR reste au premier plan. Il faut remettre la fenêtre PS au premier plan manuellement.
