So Lightroom Classic won't sync without upgrade to 14.0?

Let me get this straight. LR Classic 14.0 and 14.01 are causing a boatload of problems, and there are many recommendations to not upgrade, but syncing has stopped unless I do? Really? Damned if I do, damned if I don't?

Syncing now requires 13.3 or later - not 14.0

I recommend 13.5.1 for those who want to sync but are not yet ready to upgrade.

Hi I ran into this last night...updated for the new features, then the updated version of LRC on my Mac Studio gave me error messages for the updated catalogue which would not even open!! Said synching error ...etc...So I had to go back to LRC 13 older version to get LRC to open and also move my catalogue back from wher they had put the zipped file ('older catalogues') before I could even access my catalogue and the images. It was so frustrating took me a few hours to get my work back. Somewhere on adobe I found info to remove a synch data file, which I did, but that did not help at all. So I went back to LR 13 something and everything works. Updates should not be released unless they work. Also all catalogues should be backwards compatable. For me, I suppose I will wait a year before trying to upgrade again.

Thanks. Does 13.5.1 require a complicated catalog  upgrade?

13.5.1 uses the same catalog as 13.3 and later.  The Catalog upgrades were from 13.2 to 13.3 and from 13.5.1 to 14.0.
