August '25 REMIX IT!

Hey everyone, we're back with another Remix-it challenge and thank you for the amazing responses on our July Remix-it.

Positano, Italy

Positano can be a magical place to visit any time of the year. Whether taking in the view from the mountain top or roof top you are sure to see a memorable scene in this seaside village. Check out the landscape masking features to experiment with enhancing details in the architecture, foliage, mountains and sky and post your take here. We'll pick the top ten remixes at the end of the month.

I decided to do a few things for this:

I warmed up the color temperature and increased the color saturation (both globally and with point color) to make certain colors stand out.
I used the landscape masking tool to brighten the sky and take away the blue
I modified the mask on the mountains to create a more even color cast between the left and right side of the mountains
I used the remove tool to take away the crane on the right.

This was a fun one!

Since this photo was taken in Positano, Italy, my intention was to emphasize the warm terracotta, ochre, and muted pink tones that convey the sunlit essence of the Mediterranean coast. The added grain introduces a deliberate vintage aesthetic, evoking the tactile charm of analog photography and old postcards. This combination aims to capture not only the visual beauty of the scene but also its cultural resonance a blend of tradition, nostalgia, and timeless coastal character. Hope you all enjoy 🙂
