I want to quit lightroom and download all photos from the Lr cloud. This has an -amazing- speed of 4GB per day! Which means 200 days of downloading before I have all my photos on my laptop. Uploading goes at a great speed. Downloading a single file, even large ones, is working fine as well, but this special function to download all files (via https://lightroom.adobe.com/lightroom-library-download) is obvious slow on purpose. Yes there is a mirror function, but this is a single file on my laptop. I want to use a script to compare it to my main storage to see if I miss any photo. I can’t use the library for this. Is there any other faster way or is Adobe really doing its utmost best to keep you a client by making it hard to exit?

Whenever I copy settings on a photo in local mode with AI masks and paste them to many photos, most masks will update to the photos, but some photos will have the masks from the previous image (not always the one I copied the settings from). Even if I delete the mask and manually add a mask, it still incorrectly masks to the previous image. The only workaround I found is to use heal tool on a spot of the mask then using the update AI prompt (which doesn’t prompt when the masks are wrong).This is only after the most recent update. I have restarted Lightroom and my laptop.

I restarted the phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom. After reinstalling, I signed in again and completed syncing. Use Cellular Data is enabled in Lightroom settings. why is my ( people mask ) not detecting the person ? Even on old pictures where I already have a people mask with edits.

When editing large amounts of photos in local mode, I like to use my arrow keys to switch between photos then increase/decrease exposure to expose correctly. When I switch photos it will use the previous photos settings and if I change it, the previous photo also changes along with the current photo I’m on. Photos with no edits will just assume the edit of the previous image if I am switching photos, not even super quickly. Sometimes the changes I made won’t even save at all and I have to redo it multiple times.I also have the same issue with images rotating. If I’m switching quickly across photos, 2:3 images will suddenly switch to 3:2 and vice versa.This is only after the most recent update. I have reset my lightroom and laptop and have tried a couple different drives.

LR is so full of bugs. Makes me wonder what all your thousands of programmers are doing all day. It's beyond frustrating to pay so much money and receive such a product so full of issues.

There is bug in the lightroom mobile application, where users can freely edit the premium presets and need not take the subscription. This is for both ios and android.You just have to perform one step after editing the pictures and in less than 1 sec your premium subscription based presets are applied freely for your images

I updated Lightroom today to version 9. I go to edit a black and white negative, and the curve information is gone! It's just a gray mess with no information. I figure I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what, so any help is appreciated. I'm looking for the graph (?) where I could adjust the white and black points in the curve--there would be a bunch of lines that look like a mountain. Sorry for the low-tech explanation. Thanks!

Classic error when trying to apply Lens Blur > Estimating Depth> Something went wrong. Please try again .Multiple O/s(Mac, Chromebook), multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari) , Android app v 11.2.3 .Tried clearing cache on browsers , apps, restarted Mac/chromebook. Same error Raw Image was imported into Lr previously and was working until 4/19

I can’t uninstall Lightroom - it gets blocked - is it a bug / trojan??How do I uninstall? AI suggests downloading more Adobe trojans (Adobe Clean).I’m hesitant to have more of these rubbish programs on my device…I thought Adobe was legit.  Now I see it’s not. HELP.

Arrowing through a number of images suddenly this image was overlayed with the previous one. Restarting Lightroom Desktop 9.3 on my MacBook Pro M2 Pro did not fix this. I was able to use the Versions tab to revert the image. Then I started arrowing through again and a minute later the same thing happened to a different image. At the time I wasn’t processing anything heavy on my MacBook, but the fan was running pretty fast so something was going on. A few minutes later and I now can’t duplicate the issue.

After rotating a radial mask (~25° or more), moving the mask causes it to increase in size with each drag. Translation appears to trigger scaling, making the mask impossible to control.Occurs on macOS using a trackpad (Lightroom Desktop 9.2 and 9.3). Error message, mfc140u.dll file not found when launching, tried reinstalling with no sucess 

My photos merge without me merging the photos.

This is my second time posting this bug months later as none of the comments were helpful. The only suggestion was to fully update Lightroom Cloud (I use cloud NOT classic) and upgrade my laptop. Both are fully upgraded.  I have been having an issue where when I copy a radial or linear mask and then attempt to paste it 3-5+ times, the entire app will freeze and I will have to restart it to be able to click anything/continue editing. This is frustrating as I just bought a really intense Macbook to make sure my editing (M4 Pro 48 GB memory) was as quick and seamless as possible. It’s that what is seemingly a bug is getting in my way with every shoot I do (I am very high volume, so this is really getting in my way). I lost all my albums. They simply disappeared. Where can I find them? why this happened?Folders are still there, but all of them are empty since yestarday afternoon. Is there a way to recover how I had organized my files or do I need to start from Scratch?

I normally edit in LrC, and sync my edited files to the cloud, for display in Lr on my iPad & iPhone.  I needed to edit a photo taken with my phone, and needed the reflection removal tool, so I installed Lightroom Desktop on my MacBook, and proceeded to edit the photo in Lr Desktop.  Before I did, the photo had already synced to LrC on my Mac mini.  I completed the edit in Lr, which in addition to the remove tool included a couple of masks, and a crop.  When I opened the photo in LrC, the remove synced, as well as global adjustments, but none of the masked adjustments or the crop appeared.  When I reopened the photo in Lr, the masks and crop were also gone.  I was able to use the Lr versions, to get back to my final edit.  Now how do I make that final edit appear in LrC, without re-editing the photo there?

Auf dem Aktuellen gespeicherten Laufwerk ist kein Platz mehr vorhanden um Weitere Fotos zu Importieren bei Lightroom. Nun Ist meine Frage ob ich Lightroom Deinstallieren kann ohne das mein Aktueller Bearbeitung stand der Fotos Verloren geht. Zusätzlich bin ich mir nicht sicher ob der Katalog danach auch am Neuen Speicherort ist oder ob nur die Applikation den Speicherort ändert. Einfach ausgedrückt, wird alles wo Lightroom Beinhaltet verschoben und bei behalten oder nicht.Vielen dank schon mahl für die Hillfe.      

Ik werk met een windows tablet om foto's te bewerken onderweg/op locatie. Deze tablet ondersteunt scherm rotatie. Maar wanneer ik in Lightroom foto's op volledig scherm wil tonen aan klanten, gaat het bij het draaien helemaal mis. Ongeacht de begin positie. Alleen de positie waarin ik Lightroom heb opgestart werk goed. Maar ga ik bijvoorbeeld van landscape naar portrait, dan verdwijnt de foto half en komen er toolbars in beeld. Overigens is dit alleen bij foto op volledig scherm. In Lightroom tijdens het bewerken gaat alles prima. 

Hello! Ever since I changed phones, I’m no longer able to use the AI Denoise tool in the desktop version of the app. The legend calls out a non compatible photo format; However, the denoise option is available on the mobile version of lightroom. With that being said, denoise done on my phone does not sync with the desktop version, while all other settings do. This makes it unnecessarily complicated as I have to export out of my phone instead of doing the work directly on my desktop if I want to use images with Ai Denoise.I’ve tried a few steps, such as deleting the contents of the modelzoo folder, reinstall lightroom, and update video drivers with no positive effect. I’ve checked settings for my camera on the phone as well as within lightroom, but have found nothing that would directly affect AI Tools. Is there anything else I can do? This didn’t use to be so complicated as the feature worked directly out of the box in the past.

Hello,Since yesterday, when I want to zoom in on an image using my mouse wheel, I have to hold down the Alt key instead of the Ctrl key. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Is this a new setting? Or is it simply a bug due to the Lightroom Cloud update?I should mention that on Friday I updated my PC to the latest Insider Dev version of Windows 11: https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2026/04/17/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-26300-8276-dev-channel/ 

Hey, quick feedback on the masking feature - the “All People” option isn’t working properly. The buttons are greyed out, so I can’t actually create the mask.It’s also noticeably slowing down the whole editing process, which makes it pretty frustrating to use in a real workflow.Would be great to get this fixed ASAP - right now it’s blocking usability.
