I spent a lot of time editing an image in Lightroom (Mac v8.4).  Global edits and masking.  I made sure it synced to the cloud.  I came back a few days later to make some adjustments.  Again made sure it synced.  I published it to the community.  Then, I closed Lightroom, and opened Lightroom Classic so it could sync there and then publish it to Flickr (yes, I still use that).  Lightroom Classic (v14.4) removed all my edits and masks, then synced that back to Lightroom.  Now my edits are all gone!  Is there a way to recover this?  The image in the Community still shows as the edited version.  Sure, I could re-create the edits based off that, but re-doing the masks is going to be a pain.  Why is syncing so broken?!?

When trying to save super-resolution Ligthroom crash and says unknown error

When the images are exported, they are downloaded with a huge amount of noise in each image, even though they don't appear that way in the app or in the RAW file, even downloading the images in TIFF and JPG formats at their highest quality in both instances the problem keep persisting, my device is an iPhone 13 and the version of the app is 11.6.10

I use Lightroom CC, not Classic. I also use Pixieset, and I have my clients favourite their pictures so that I can edit them in Lightroom CC. From Pixieset, I have a list of files as a text delimited list. E.g. L1071059, L1071061, L1071064, L1071066, etc…I need to be able to take this list, and select all these files in Lightroom CC at the same time, then flag/rate/colour them all at the same time so that I can edit each one.How do I do this? It seems this is possible in Lightroom Classic, but not CC. But I need it in Lightroom CC because I don’t use Classic and have no intention of using Classic. I sync all the client picks to the cloud with Lightroom CC so that I can go back and retrieve them easily in the future. Thank you,

this is the difference between camera raw on +44 vignetting (not even half) and lightroom on its max, and still camera raw corrects much better.

When batch editing, I copy setting ( auto )  from the initial photo after editing it of course. But when I apply the the setting to the other photos, it shows processing and complete, but the setting are not applied. Then I have to manual apply them individually. 

Hello Lightroom team,With iPhone Duo arriving, it would be great to see a dedicated “laptop mode” in Lightroom mobile: One screen (or half) shows the image at full size. The other screen (or bottom half) shows the editing controls (sliders, masks, presets, histogram).This would mirror the efficiency of dual‑monitor and Reference View workflows on desktop and make serious mobile editing much more practical on foldable devices.Current mobile behavior (tapping to hide/show controls, press‑and‑hold for before/after) is good, but a persistent split layout would be a big productivity boost.Thanks for considering this.

I have been using Ai Denoise on Lightroom for a while now. Most recently, I ran into an issue where after the photo has gone through denoise, it will distort the photo and turn it either green, pink, or sometimes mash another photo with the photo I am currently working on. It makes the photo completly unusable, as it fully distorts the image. I switched computers thinking it might have been the device, but it continutes to do it on either device. Additionally, it gives a message to update Ai settings, but when I press that button it has me denoise again, creating a loop of the same distorted image popping up. This has happened in the past with an occacional photo every once in a while, but now it has turned into most every photo this happens to. Now my computer can't denoise anything.  Any thoughts?

AI Sharpen will randomly fail with an error that reads "output too large". The same image that worked before will fail, and vice versa, with no edits being done in between. Tested with lossless compressed RAWs from both an a7R V and a7R VI. MacOS 27, 16" M5 Max 128GB/8TB MacBook Pro. Lightroom 9.6.

I transfer my photo from Pixel photos and then I edit it, I save it to my device but I can't find where to add the metadata. I then go to the gallery and bring up the photo I just edited but I am still unable to find where to add the metadata

Try to move the crop a little bit? SNAPTry to drag one edge a little bit? SNAPSnaps to edges, snaps to aspect ratios, snaps to center. How the hell can I make fine adjustments to the crop without this? Who thought this was a good idea. Who UX tested this???---Furthermore, considering the whole point of generative expand is for when you need a little more room in one direction or another, it's rather ridiculous from a UX perspective that the option to use it is greyed out unless you expand the canvas by some set minimum amount (which is actually quite a bit). Anything less than that and you're not allowed to generative expand. Who thought that was a good idea?

I use the lens blur feature for some specific photos. Since the last updates, as soon as i edit the settings in detail manually to give the look i want to the blur, i get “update AI settings” that pops up… and when you click it it just throw away my settings to put it back as it was… but if i ignore and export i get a popup to give me warning on outdated AI settings. Look, i don’t care of your AI… can you stop spamming me with popups FOR EVERY SINGLE PICTURE I EDIT, and having bugs closing lightroom window when ignoring the popup etc… You just made UX the worst ever on a photo editing app. Or give us an option to turn off AI, I can decide myself how my photo look.

Has there been any movement on adding “Intersect Mask” to the mask panel in Lightroom for iPad? I've figured out a work around, but it's tedious and time consuming. I've seen this requested already, but the thread is old. Figured I'd refresh the idea and respark the idea.

I don’t have a question. I’m giving feedback. Lightroom is crashing in export. It’s starting to be an appalling build like Classic was. It needs fixing immediately.

The TAT tool in B&W mix is not working in my copy of Lightroom Desk Top.  The sliders work correctly but mot the tool.

I spend a massive amount of time carefully reviewing and grading my catalog.Currently, in Lightroom (Cloud), it is far too easy to accidentally overwrite the star ratings of a large number of photos. If you happen to have multiple photos selected (for example, by accidentally hitting Cmd+A/Ctrl+A) and press a number key (e.g., "3") to rate what you think is just a single image, Lightroom instantly changes the rating for all selected photos. I’m trying to use the new AI Topaz Sharpen tool, and it gives me the error saying: “Output too large. Try a smaller scale or reduce the image size”I shoot in 60MP RAW. So to use it, I really need to reduce my resoution first? WTF? I’m not trying to upscale anything. Just sharpen.So… what is the maximum resolution of a photo I can use this tool on? That would be helpful information in the error message. Just saying...

When I right-click a photograph and select Duplicate 1 Photo, the newly created photo now has "duplicate" appended to its name.I believe that in earlier Lightroom Desktop versions, approximately spring 2026, Duplicate Photo created the second Lightroom image with the same name as the original.Was the naming behavior of Duplicate Photo intentionally changed in a recent Lightroom Desktop release?

Starting with Lr Desktop 9.5 (issue is still present in 9.6) the Constrain Crop checkbox disappeared in the Geometry panel. Meanwhile, it's still available on the iOS versions.The checkbox disappearing was concurrent with the introduction of Generative Expand. I don't always want to expand my image when a crop will do fine. Save the tokens for something else.

For the two  days now I have been trying to import some images into Lr Mobile on my iPad Pro. The images are stuck pending. I’ve rebooted the app. Did a hard reboot to the iPad Pro. Paused the sync and resumed the sync. It usually takes less than a few seconds to import a few images (5 or 6) and it’s taking forever because it’s stuck in pending. I’m using Wi-Fi with a strong signal and everything. I don’t know what else to try. I have plenty of free storage space on my iPad Pro so that is not it either.Within Lr Mobile, I’m using 63% of 100gb of Cloud Storage. I have 36.92gb of free storage. Use cellular for sync is not available (only tried this to see if there was an issue with my hotspot), I always sync over WiFi. thanks!
