Lightroom app on iPhone says phone is low on storage despite having over 100GB of free space

Recently, when I tried to use Lightroom on my iPhone, it said it could not import any photos as my phone was low on storage. I find this strange because my phone has a ton of free space. When I delete and reinstall the app, the same error pops up. Does anyone know a solution  to this?
