Lightroom Mobile Photos Gone

Today I went to check my Lightroom Mobile photos synced to the Adobe cloud but couldn't get the Mac app to connect (it continuously said "waiting for connection"). I went to my iPad to check the photos from there and it told me I had no collections. I went over to my iPhone's LR Mobile app and when it first opened, all of my collections were there. Then it went to a loading screen and when it came back it said I had no collections. I had hundreds of pictures synced to the cloud so this is both incredibly frustrating and terrifying. Is this just a connection issue or did all of my photos some how get deleted?

Correct answer greule

Did you connect a new Lr Desktop catalog to your account? Since Lr Mobile currently only supports one catalog at a time the previous connected catalog will be purged. In that case you should have recieved a caution allert within Lr Desktop. - Guido

Hello peter, I think I have a similar situation. I had about 10 or so photos that I took on my phone, and now I can't find them. What's weird is I thought I had been syncing things already, so I really don't know where they went. Can you see if you can recover them?

Hello,

Sorry to add to the deluge of people here, but I hope you can also help me. I signed in to my account and all my pictures were gone. I would like to recover the edits I had made to my files.

Thanks a lot!

Tine,

I see 480 photos in your account as well.  This is the same account you are using in in this Forum.  Browse to lightroom.adobe.com to see the photos.  Let me know what device you are using and what you are seeing your app.

Hello Peter,

I browsed to lightroom.adobe.com. I couldn't find my pictures anywhere but it said that my (free) Creative Cloud membership has expired.

Also the Lightroom app on my Samsung Galaxy Neo S5 reports this. What should I do now?

Thank you in advance,

Tine

Hi, I have made the same mistake and deleted my mobile catalog when trying to sync. Please help! I will appreciate it!

(Thought it was my old test catalog on the computer, but unfortunately not. If just one or a couple of photos would have been shown before you hit confirm delete the misstake would have been avoided.)

I have sent you an email with your recovered catalog.

Please let me know if there is anything else you need.

Hey Peter,

I have the same problem as probably most of the users here. I deleted the synced folder on my Desktop LR, and now all of my DNG's I took with my iPhone are gone. Is there any way to recover them, if they are still somewhere in my account?

Really appreciate your help!

Thank you,

Lukas

I think I may also have suffered the same problem. It's difficult to say what exactly happened, because I have only just now realised that I am missing a lot of photos.

For some period of time I was importing directly to my iPad and/or iPhone with the camera connection kit, and then importing in to Lightroom. After doing this I would delete the original photos from the device. I'm not exactly sure when, but I know I changed my primary catalog at some point and I think I may have lost photos because of this. Please help!

Hi Peter,

LR Android lost photos after a phone restart. Can you please help in restoring?

Richard,

We can only restore photos that were successfully uploaded to our server.  Try browsing to lightroom.adobe.com and see what photos are there.  If you see photos there that aren't available on your device, they should be able to sync.

If not there, can you let me know more details of what happened and what you are seeing in the app?

Thanks,

Peter

I have had a very strange problem similar to this. I had around 800 photos uploaded to the Adobe Server, but for some reason 300 or so have disappeared. I would very much like to retain them if possible, after they had been deleted from my iPhone after a problem with the catalogue on my Mac.

Many thanks,

Fred

Hello Adobe,

I made the same mistake.... :-(

It was not clear to me that my images on the mobile would be deleted.

Can you PLEASE help me restore the images?

Thank you.

     Dear staff members,

I have a similar issue here... just came back from the trip in Italy. I used Lightroom for iPhone app to shoot all the photos in dng format. Today when opening the app i was prompted with a login (never had this prompt before) i logged in and now i have 0 Lightroom Photos... My Creative Cloud has expired and i'm pretty sure nothing got synced to the cloud. What can i do to get the photos back? Where are they stored on the iPhone?

Thank you in advance,

Otis

Hi peter-b, cloud you please help me get my photos in LR mobile back please. I just lost them all T-T.

What happen to me is..

1.) I use only LR mobile with no subscription with tons of photos.

2.) I was start to use "trial" a month ago to able to use selection tool.

3.) Then my trial was expired so I decide to subscribe Adobe Creative Cloud but use my another email.

4.) So I was sign-out this Adobe ID from my LR mobile and sign-in again with another ID I just subscribed.

5.) All of my photos in LR mobile was gone. Sign-in again with this ID won't help. And I cannot access lightroom.adobe.com with my original ID because trial was expired.

My question is can I get all of my edited photos back and transfer to my new Adobe ID? Please help.
