Mackie Control, or HUI protocol

Hello,

I bought a behringer BCF2000 for using it like a interface controller with Lightroom. I could't make it work. I wrote to Behringer support system and they told me that if Lightroom supports either one Mackie Control or HUI protocol, I would be able to use it with Lightroom. I tried to find something about these protocols in the Adobe support page and even in google, but I couldn't find anything. can anyone of you help me?

      While I realize this is a year old, I found this plugin (that I haven't tried but want to as soon as I get a control surface).   It seems to support quite a few different control surfaces, including the discontinued but still functional model you mentioned.

        Exactly what I was looking for.

        Being also a sound engineer I am always using hardware controllers for driving all my music softwares : it's ten folds faster than doing everything by mouse.

        I am amazed how little photographers or Lightroom users know little about this type of controllers that almost any computer musician have.
        For the price of this plug-in plus a second hand Behringer BCR2000 you can have a great upgrade in your process.

          Why would you assume we have a clue what a 'behringer BCF2000' is or what 'Mackie Control or HUI protocol' means?

          Ya - I could research it but I shouldn't have to.

          Why would you assume this comment is in any way helpful? If you don’t know what those terms mean then it’s a pretty safe bet you’re not going to be able to help. ;-)
