Questions

Whenever I try to upload an OBJ zipped with the textures it always end up black. I have no idea what I'm missing here. FBX files have the same problem or they turn out gray. I hope someone has the answer for me

I have tried 3 different browsers an FBX and OBJ file aswell as seperate avatars (default and custom) imported from CLO3D, every time I import them into Mixamo their arms are disjointed and noodley, this is obviously fixed when re-rigging the skeleton but when I upload any avatar the rigging/placing joints section is completely skipped, is there any way to stop it from auto mapping the skeleton, it's furstrating that every tutorial has a step that simply does not appear for me.

Hello, whenever I import my model into Mixamo it will load in until it gets to the animation stage, and then it just is stuck there loading forever. I import it with its own rig because it wont work with the auto rigger. Is this a problem with the rig I am using or is it something else? Rig is posted with this post

heyooo! I am not a pro 3d artist but i have an astronaut character in c4d i am autorigging in mixamo.in tpose everything is ok, but once the arms go up the characters sides poke out. i dont get it.does anybody know how to fix this? i will try to attach pics. 

  We have updated the Mixamo Blender plugin for the new Blender v3.0. This plugin addresses any API code changes that might have been introduced with the new Blender version.  There is an "Update" button which you can also use to update control rigs generated on the earlier versions of Blender to Blender 3.0 (since there is a breaking change that lead to not scaling appropriately the bones custom shape when switching IK-FK). The update operator takes care of changing all of that, then old rigs are 100% compatible with Blender 3.0. https://substance3d.adobe.com/plugins/mixamo-in-blender/   NB: Once again please note that the Blender plugin only works for characters auto-rigged with the Mixamo service.   Thanks.

What are you allowed to do with the free models and animations provided on Mixamo​ if you have not paid any kind of subscription? Am I allowed to have the content in a video game that has monetization?Thanks.

Hi there!, i was using mixamo for the first time. i found a animation but its a female but the cover is a male. when i click on it its a female and when the cover is a female and ilcik on it its just a female. when the cover is something like a zombie than its still a female. and when i downloaded it its still a female. so how do i change female to male? Regards,Juda van Zanden

So far, I had consistent results when downloading the default mixamo characters and importing them in Blender. Used a couple of them, with different animations, all good.Drake is different though. When I download him (whether in T-Pose or with any animation), I always see the same animation: it looks like a basic "movement test", where all joints are moved one after another, fingers then elbow then shoulder etc.  I'm not able to see the actual animation I tried downloading.Could somebody please take a look (ideally, using Blender as well)? I'm pretty new to 3D, so I don't know if the problem is with me or with Drake &#x1f605 Any ideas very much appreciated 🙏

My rig after inport in mixamo is 90 grade down. how to rotate?

I have tried many time to upload my character. After I uploaded, the anto-rigger shown the screen below, and it doesn't allow me to drag the bones position. There is no step for me to place the bones postion corectly. And I tried to click the next button, all the bones position mess up 😞 How to solve this issue ?  

My mixamo gets stuck on loading and does not agree to do anything, I would be happy with help me, needless to say that even when I transfer 3D MODELS from Fuse it does not work, I attach a screenshot: 

I am an After effects template author. I have created a template with Mixamo mmodel and animations, and then bring that to c4d. There I light and texture that and render a Video out of it. And I have importing that video in my After effects to create a tenplate. Can I sell the Template? Is it under license covarage?

The choice of animation is one big mess. How can basic sorting options be missing, e.g. by name?

I saw the 8-Way rifle pack. Is there something similar planned for pistols, or no weapons?

hi, Im new to modelling things and Im trying to get an FBX file to upload in order to begin picking animations. The problem I have is my model is fine in any other app but once Ive postioned all the rigging options and my model is processed the mouth goes really weird, it looks fine in blender and other programs but aas soon as its time to put an animation on the model its mouth looks really strange, any ideas? Thanks 

hi, I can upload a character just fine, but cannot pull, move, or affect the rigging markers to get them onto my model.  I'm using a Wacom studio pro with the pen.  do I need to find a mouse to do this function?

Hi! Newbie here, I notice that for most animations there is the adjusting arm space options before downloading the files, however these are not present when selecting locomotion packs that includes multiple files, what is the best way to adjust arm space for the files in the locomotion packs? Thank in advance!

Hi! I just finished setting up the mixamo auto control rig script (v 1.6.0) into maya. I followed the steps and I am now trying to rig my character but the IK and FK won't attach.    When I move the controllers nothing moves with them. Any help is greatly appreciated Thank you 

Mixamo site is unusable for downloading animations, it freezes instantly, is there a simplified version for laptops maybe without automatic character animations?I don't know what is the issue, I've downloaded animations a year before and it all went smoothly...Did my laptop just became too slow for new versions?

Hey Folks, Just need want to kindly some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D.  I had just finished a segment of my animation in Cinema 4D and wanted to carry on over my progress onto one of the main projects I was working on.  I had used a pre-made Cinema 4D model called "Marzbar Set Up" just to accompany my story in which I intended to use it as a setting for my character to interact with (this is the main project I'm referring to). This will be enclosed down below. In terms of my character going to interact with my main project - I made a side project that contained my animation which I had intended to later add into my main project. A video of this can be located enclosed in this post below. Therefore, if anyone could please send me some good tutorials, threads, forums or provide me some steps on how I can copy content from my side project into my main project - that would be an absolute great help! ~ Thanks P.S:  Marzbar's Gaming Set

Hey Folks, Just wanted to kindly ask for some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D. I just finished an opening sequence of my animation after following a YouTube tutorial displaying how to smoothly animate characters from an animation to another (link to YouTube Video will be enclosed down below). I had just finished my finalised product (which will be enclosed down below) for part of my animation and noticed that there were a lot of motion capture ghosts there. I went to search for a way to toggle them on and off for certain aspects of my characters animations just so in reality there can be less clutter when I'm working - given that my charcter is basically going to be in a room for most of the animation.  Therefore, if anyone could please send me some good tutorials, threads, forums or provide me some steps on how I can toggle on and off motion capture ghosts - that would be an absolute great help! ~ Thanks P.S:  Video Title C4D Tutorial -

Hey Folks, Just need want to kindly some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D. I was just working on providing some anaimations for a charcter of mine which I had downloaded from Mixamo. The character in which I downloaded it from was called "Bryce". Afterwards I was searching through any available animations and found a suitable one called "Basic Locomotive Pack". I specifically wanted to use the animation labelled as "Right Strafe Walk". I opened up Cinema 4D and inserted it into a new project and found out what I actually got was just a skeleton without my charcter attached to it. I have a video enclosed down below displaying my issue.  Therefore, I just wanted to ask if there is a way to essentially just convert that skeleton to my character without needing to rig absolutely everything for evry single frame (as I found from other YouTube tutorials so far).
