Hi student working on Character Animator. does it work with Mixamo ? information would be helpful
As the title suggests, is there a way to automate the download of Mixamo animations in some way. It's against the TOS to supply mixamo animations & rigs with commercially available products, in a more defined sesnse, Unity packages.What I'd like to be able to do, is have a downloader, so that the animations that I use in my package could contain a series of links to Mixamo, so that at the press of a button, all the required animations could be downloaded from Mixamo and therefore not violate the TOS. Thanks.
Hello, I just wanted to know if there is still any possibilities of bringing facial blendshapes in mixamo like before we had while importing models directly from fuse.
Exporting Rigged Character from Maya to MixamoHi, I'm new here and I'm just tryna figuring out how to export my rigged model to mixamo (from maya 2020), for downloading animations. In the beginning I couldn't export the rigged model because it would unbind the joint from the skin, but then I figured out that I needed to delete the bind nodes and I created a new bind pose for the root joint in the script following a tutorial, and then I exported everything in .FBX and re imported it in Maya to see if the rig will still work, and it did, but now when I import the fbx file in Mixamo it says that it is unable to map the existing skeleton. What I can't understand it's if I exported it in a wrong way or if my rig isn't well made so it doesn't work? I don't know, even re importing it in Maya it still works, but in Mixamo it doesn't. Hopefully even with my bad english someone will understand my problem, anyway thank you so much!
why you delete sfm export from mixamo ? t was a good feature.And if you could bring it back that would be great
Hello everyone! I was trying the auto rig from Mixamo and i am currently working with the Jill rig - she's a zombie. She has a nice facial skeleton which i would like rigged but the auto rig doesn't rig this. Is there any alternative way or any settings in the auto rig tool that i need to change? Cheers!
Is there any sort of road map of what is happening with Fuse / Mixamo? I realize that previously it was anounced that development on fuse was coming to an end, however what does that mean for Mixamo? Are there plans to replace Fuse with something similar? I remember seeing on the Fuse forum (now gone?) that there are active plans for the future development of Mixamo?
Hello, I am just wanting to test out what my model might look like, and when I upload either an fbx file or obj file, with the packaged textures, the model turns out dark with the seperate facebuilder texture not showing at all. These are both working fine together in blender.
Hello, I don't know if it was asked before, but I'd like to know how to convert mixamo's animations to a character that already has a rig and different armature from mixamo's one... I'm getting mad beacause I can't find anything about it on the net ! If you want to know more specificaly what I plan to do, it's to convert some animations from mixamo (for a youtube series) to The sims 4, I know it is possible as I saw some players do it, but they don't want to share the secret with me...So if anyone could help me please you would save my life !

Now that Adobe has so graciously killed Fuse and Mixamo, are there any alternatives for getting facial blendshapes? It's very frustrating to have to do it by hand for every single model I want to create.
When I try and import my model, I get the error message "Error occured on FBXpase". What does this mean? My model is an obj file. Not FBX.
I tried to upload a character in adobe mixamo, I had an .obj file and all the texture files zipped and I uploaded the zipped file, but the textures wouldn't work, The character was gray and the mixamo FAQ page didn't help whatsoever. The texture files are attached.
At some points, we need to rig a Dwarf or a Troll character. Or there are some characters that is hunchback, etc. Thus, when we rig such characters, there are some unwanted results in the rig in current automated rigging process. In my opinion, if we have additional joints (neck, tail bone, etc.) which can be included in the list by clicking to "advanced" option, that would create extra precision. For instance, I am trying to rig this troll character and its face is in same level with its neck. Therefore, if I could tag where the neck and chin are from side of the character, I would be able to rig the model flawlessly. But currently, it rigs with unwanted results. Hope this can be fixed.

Hi, I Just discovered mixamo so I wanted to try It importing a model made by me, but I can't find anywhere the upload botton. Searching on internet no one had the same issue, but if I open mixamo It only make me see the animation/Characters Windows, I can't find anywhere the storie/products button with the upload botton or the "editor panel". Thank you
