I'm on Mac beta build 26.10.0 - and the same dead result occur. I try to apply a parametric filter and all it does is create a blank copy of the layer I'm trying to apply to filter to. Looks like this has been a problem for well over 2 years. Is there a fix?

I was on Windows 10. Neural filters opened quite happily on both Photoshop and Photoshop beta. Suddenly one day, neural filters stopped opening in beta. The screen stayed blank with either nothing happening or a blue circle rotating for eternity. And yet, neural filters loaded correctly on Photoshop. I updated to Windows 11. Neural filters still open on Photoshop, but not on Photoshop beta. Settings for both programs are the same. I have the latest versions of both. 1. Photoshop Beta 26.11 m3181.2. Windows 11 Pro3. I open a photo on Photoshop beta then go to neural filters. A blank panel appears on the right. Sometimes there is a turning circle, other times nothing. I have to go to 'file-close' to exit the program as nothing else I click on works.

I have been using Photoshop for over 25 years on Windows. And for over 12 years, I've been using tablets with a SIM card slot and a pen because I work a lot on the go. So I'm not part of the Mac family. I have been waiting for years for an Android version of Photoshop to finally be released. But far from it... development only takes place for iOS and iPadOS. That's bitter, especially with the recent price increase. Every time I read the headline 'Create anywhere...', a fragile plant of hope sprouts, which is promptly destroyed. I mean, I'm also a paying customer, and the folks at ibispaint manage to bring usable image editing software to market for Android. I really wanted to get this frustration off my chest, so I’m writing it here in the forum. Greetings from Ebbes.     [Edited to add Android topic]    

Adobe photoshop beta 26.11.0Mac os 14.1.2 When opening any image in to photoshop beta it will automatically start creating a generative fill layer using firefly and then result in an error or closing the image. This results in not being able to open any image in Photoshop beta. A fix would be most welcome 🙂

The most recent update, which removes the ability to use prompts and reference images in tendem, is producing much worse results than previous versions.  The masking and blending is completely unusable and the generated imagery looks considerablby less realistic and weird.  please put it back. Whatever you have done is breaking my work flow on a massive project I've spent a year on, that is if I want to move forward with new PS beta versions. Thanks!

Contacted Adobe support chat person (Deepak K) last night re: how to enlarge menu fonts for a BenQ 4k monitor.  He went into my system, tried different things, said he couldn't help since at some point he couldn't see the screen, and then said to contact tech support again.When I opened up PS-Beta, not only were the menu and drop down fonts still tiny, but the drop down menus shifted randomly and I couldn't access any of the menu/tab items with my mouse.  Also, each image I brought up was totally distorted -- totally!!!!!I made sure I have the latest NVIDIA driver, and I uninstalled and then re-installed Beta.  NOTHING WORKS!!!Now what????

Every action button in Photoshop is on the left side instead of the right. Cancel should be on the right. Are the Photoshop developers asleep?

This problem croppped up last year, it has arisen anew.Behavior: With the beta (26.10) and release versions (26.9.0) installed, the default app for psds, psbs, and other file types previously asscoiated with the release version become associated with the beta by default.Going to the get info panel on a document of this type and switching default app to the release version does not work, the default is switched back to the beta.Going to the "Full Disk Access" option under the system setting Privacy and Security reveals that the Beta has replaced the release version in the list. Attempting to add the release version to the list only reconfirms the beta.Workaround: Un-installing the beta.After the beta is uninstalled it still appears on the Full Disk Access list. However if you click on it, the name instantly changes back to the release version.Obvioulsy the OS can no longer distinuish between the the beta and release. Verified on Photoshop beta 26.11.0 (& release 26.9.0) on macOS Sequoia 15.5 When opening 8-bit JPEG or HEIC files with HDR directly in Photoshop, the HDR information (i.e. the PQ gain map) is silently lost. This can be worked-around somewhat by forcing Photoshop to open JPEG/HEIC images by way of Camera Raw, which preserves HDR info then sends it to Photoshop as a 32-bit file, but this immediately creates its own set of problems, such as files which are larger and visibly different from the originals as rendered in Preview. Given that embedding HDR as JPEG/HEIC files has become the default output of phone cameras and so ubiquitous, we need a way to work directly & easily with these types of files — without introducing Camera Raw or other conversion steps — to open/edit/save them while preserving their original appearance, HDR gain-mapping, and 8-bit file formats Example file attached: to reproduce...Open file in Photoshop directly (without Camera Raw), then Save

I have a file with 6 layer comps. A white layer is hidden for all, but when I export with File->Export->Layer comps, part ofd the white layer appears n every export. This does not happen if I save each layer comp individually.

I am looking for the last version of Photoshop Beta that still had the old "Reference Image" panel when using Generative Fill or Choose File.In the latest Beta and Stable versions, it has been replaced by Reference Object which crops and changes the workflow.Please let me know:1. The exact version number (build) that still had the old Reference Image panel.2. An official installer link for that version.This is important for my workflow. Thank you.. 

This morning the following problem presented itself using Photoshop Beta 26.11 on Windows 11 desktop.  Rather try to explain the problem, I'm posting an image showing you how the program is opening up as of this morning. Can someone please tell me how I can fix it?  Thank you very much. Stu 

I downloaded the photoshop beta version 25.1 and I tried several times to download the remove tool components but it ends up with error massage (remove tool components could not be added ). I uninstall photoshop beta and reinstall it again, I sign out of creative cloud and sign in again in both tries still the same error. My OS is windows 10 22h2 OS build 19045.3324 windows pro. I have already contacted an adobe agent before and he or she told me to restart and try again, also uninstall the creative cloud with the cloud removal and install it again fresh install, I did it and still I am getting the same error. Can you please tell me how to solve the issue? 

I tried out the new Generative Upscale at 4x in Photoshop 26.11.0 20250806.m.3173 cae8b1d x64 (beta, PublicBeta). Original photo is at the top, then below from left to right is Image Resize 400%, Generative Upscale 4x and Topaz AI 3.3.3 (old now) Scaled 4x.  If this is the best Adobe can do, I'm far from impressed.

why always getting this dialog when saving  a jpg to a psd ?i did not get this in the previous version of Photoshop.

Adjust Colors enables you to make quick and easy hue, saturation, and lightness adjustments to the 6 most prominent colors in your image.     HOW TO TEST When a "pixel" layer is selected with the Contextual Task Bar enabled, you'll see an "Adjust Colors" button. Clicking it shows the six main colors in your image. You can select a color and adjust its hue, saturation, and lightness. Changes appear instantly on the canvas, and the swatch updates to show the before-and-after colors.     Using the eyedropper tool, you can choose any different color for the swatches. A magnifier loupe appears when you click to help you preview a color. See attached for reference.I have tried using harmonize on multiple PCs (same account) and it produces the same result. Have tried multiple documents with multiple  subjects and multiple backgrounds. I do have generative credits available. Everything I have been trying to harmonize has been SFW and shouldn't be censored. Using the latest version of PS Beta as of 8/6/25 which is 26.10. I would love to hit the ground running with this feature but seem to be the only one who is encountering this to my knowledge. Any help is beyond appreciated.
