Questions

All of a sudden 25.9 m.2603 is showing the font preview panel on a periferal monitor. It only happens with preview size set to HUGE. It happens regardless of workspace including the default Essentials with no content on periiferal screens. I have tried all Preference settings that I thought might be relevant, i.e. Narrow Options Bar, Large Tabs I does not happen on 25.7 release version.   I have not yet tried resetting Preferences , but will give that a go now. Any ideas?  

I updated my graphics drivers and that did not help. I started with an image of Sinopah Mountain in Glacier National Park on which I wanted to add snow to the mountaintop.  In so doing, the Generative Fill took quite a bit of the mountain away.  It did add some very good looking snow, but removed a good chunk of the mountaintop.  Then, I tried to add snow to the top of Never Laughs Mountain and the same thing happened.  Much of the mountain is removed from the selected area.  On Never Laughs Mountain, I got very little snow but lost quite a bit of mountain.  The file sizes are too large to leave as examples as the layers would be needed to see the changes.

I noticed these differences between the new and old AI immediately earlier this year. It is really starting to bug me, so I thought I would upload some images to show what I'm seeing consistently in trees, rock, etc. PS Beta often kills texture and patterns, where the old PS standard AI, without a prompt, did not, at least not near as much. Please see below.  Below I have created five images for comparison. Each image on the right was made using four different AI render sections of close to 1024 X 1024. _______________________________ This first image below, is from PS beta, gen fill with no prompt. Notice how the AI lost almost all of the textures and look of the original. I clicked through the options and picked the best ones I got on the first rounds.  This next one below, I've used a basic prompt in PS beta AI, gen fill. It's better, but still, most of the original granite texture and look is gone.   This third one, is from PS stand

This only recently started happening after the last beta update. I tried updating windows and restarting but now help. I can manually open images still by double clicking or using the file menu.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that with the latest Photoshop Beta update, the AI generation quality took a nosedive? The results are now weirder, less accurate, and sometimes downright unintelligible. It feels like the improvements they made in previous versions have taken a step back.I get that Adobe is probably experimenting with new models or algorithms, but this feels like a major downgrade. The balance between creativity and realism seems off now, and I'm getting more bizarre outcomes than useful ones.Anyone else experiencing this? Wondering if this is a temporary blip or if Adobe is shifting their focus. Would love to hear your thoughts and if there are any workarounds that people are finding.

Ever since updating Photoshop Beta today, 5/23/23. my Norton virus alerts/threats are stating there's no digital signatures.  "Adobe crash Reporter Service does not have a digital signature." And the same for Adobe Photoshop 2023.  AND Log transport app does not have a digtal signature....This did not happen prior to the new update today.  Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.6.0 20230520.m.2181 4e0245f x64  What's going on?

Since Beta 25.10 and even the newer 25.11 everytime I use the remove tool and check "remove after each stroke" a boxed progress bar shows EVERY TIME. Even at the smallest stroke the box shows up in a fixed position on the top center of the screen. It's really annoying and invasive. I looked for a way to turn it off but i can't find it. It's so bad I am back to using the normal version of PS since I can't work like that. I use the remove tool constantly. Before, it used to have a small unintrusive spinning circle and the progress bar would only show in longer and more complex tasks...Please bring back the old spinner instead of this box.Thank you

En la nueva versión de Photoshop Beta (v. 25.12.0) solo se activan las funciones en una oportunidad y después Archivo, Edición, Capa, Texto, Selección, Fltro, 3D etc. no se pueden usar.  Hay que reiniciar el programa para usarlo una sola vez.  Es una muy desagradable perdedera de tiempo.

It's interesting that all of my Beta program icons that show on my taskbar in Windows 11 have a slight shadow to them, except for Photoshop. That in itself is odd but not concerning, however, Beta does not show up in my list of programs when I right click on an image and choose "open with". Photoshop shows up, but not Photoshop Beta. If I have Beta already open, then choosing the regular Photoshop option will open it in the Beta version. However, if I don't have Beta open, choosing the Photoshop option opens the standard version of Photoshop and not the Beta version. 

CMYK inages crash the application when switch to full screen mode.

Bonjour, Je travail actuellement avec photoshop Beta Version : 25.12 Il y a un problème de Freez persistent, ce qui m'amène à fermer photoshop beta avec le gestionnaire des tâches à chaque fois. Je travail avec photoshop environ une dizaine de minute (parfois moins et parfois plus) puis le freeze intervient. I select multiple photos in Bridge then select Photo Processor.With the latest photoshop beta (25.12 m2735), I sometimes get error : "unable to create the folder / or file" when it is writing the file on disk.With regular PHotoshop and previous photoshop beta versions, I never get that kind of error.PS : it is quite random, not reproducible everytime ... but It occurend quite often ...

This message keeps appearing in my Photohop when I try to use the AI generator, do you know why? 

tengo dos dispositivos con la aplicacion de Photoshop instalada y en la mas potente no puedo generar imagenes con el relleno generativo, cuando hago el proceso para ampliar o genererar una imagen inicia bien y antes de finalizar el proceso se interrumpe y no genera nada, asi lo intente 100 veces, ninguna de las 100 veces genera

I tried to use neural filters to stylize a layer using Style Transfer. The layer was an image on transparent background.I wanted to use my own image as reference, so I selected Custom, loaded my image, selected destination as current layer and pressed OK. The only thing that happened is that the image was selected with the ants outline, the neural filters pop-up disappeared and I could not bring it back. I tried to choose it again from the Filters menu but it never came up. I had to close PS and restart.

Good morning, I can't use AI anymore as it always gives me an error whatever I select, background, objects, everything. I've made updates, I don't understand what it could be. Thank you

I was unable to resequence the layers in this version of Photoshop.  Spent an hour on the Chat with Adobe.  He took control of my computer and was also unable to easily resolve issue.  Finally, he suggested that I reboot the computer and that resolved the problem.  Also, had great difficulty with Object Selection tool.  Could select the object, but the dropdown menu containing  creating a new layer (whole right side panel) wouldn't appear.  Again, rebooting the computer resolved issue.

eventually, my "File, Edit, ect" file menu as well as all the Project tabs dissapear. I had about 10 projects open.

in my photoshop Ai generative fill option is nit working

It seems the major functions in beta version have been added to regular Photoshop and Photoshop Beta has a bug where measurements suddenly appear on screen and can't be removed until the system is restarted... I just wanted to know, Is Photoshop Beta now obsolete and can be left out of the picture?
