Sorry if this is obvious but how to you dock the floating options bar in the v24.7?I realise some people like a palette fruit salad! But I prefer a clean interface with clear delineation between images and interface.Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.Cheers, Ben

I've been using Photoshop for about 20 years and it's starting to bug me how thinks are not working.I know I'm using the beta program but hope someone can help. Every time I open a file the layers panel goes to the back of all the open windows and even when I click on it it doesn't come to the front.So I'm constantly having to move things out of the way to get to this pretty important selection.Possibly some setting that I don't know about? Also when using the pen tool it was just command a to get the direction selection tool, now I have to click the path and go and select the direct selection button so can edit handles etc. Hope someone can help.

I do not have access to the parametric filters on Photoshop. Win10. Photographic Plan. Ver 25.4.

Whether i'm using PS (Beta) V25.4, I can't use the features in the new Parametric filter, Whenever I select any of the functions, PS will automatically shut down, I try many times with the same result.Hope to get a solution to the problem as soon as possible, Thank You! Chua Khong Huat

I can't use generative fill tool, how to fix it?  

Hi, I created some basic images (telephone, bath etc.) using the Photoshop Beta version - this was in Nov/Dec last year. I know previously these weren't allowed to be used for commercial use, but now I've seen the rule that: "Outputs from generative AI features without the beta label can be used commercially. Outputs from generative AI beta features can be used commercially unless otherwise designated in the product or elsewhere, but these outputs are not eligible for indemnification while in beta." So can I use those images now or not?

Got the latest update and the generative fill just DOES NOT work anymore from a blank canvas. it's fine if I choose an image and generate over that, but not a blank canvas

libraries source missing in Photoshop beta version.

When using AI generation, and using a different program (Illustrator for example), when the generation is completed, it opens photoshop back up instead of giving me a notification in the taskbar. only started within the last 2 updates of Beta, v25.6 and v25.5

Hey Adobe Team, Encountered a glitch in Photoshop 25.6 - whenever I use the new "adjustment brush tool," it freezes, forcing me to "end the task" and lose my recovery backup. Rolled back to version 25.5 temporarily. Can you please investigate? Thanks, Oran

HI, I installed Photoshop version 25.4 and tried to use the generative fill.  But it showed the function can not be used. What is the problem?How can I solve it ? 

when I open a project or start a new I get the Suggestions/Recent Project stuck on my screen.If i CTL SHFT A and then paste in whatsapp it crashed my photoshop. along with many other issues.can someone please link me to where i can sumbit a dispute. This is happeneing witht the Beta and with most recent updates pushed to the live photoshop as well.  I used this sofware for work not to just play arround. this is unacceptable. 

I've had phothshop for a few years. Last year Beta was announced and I put off trying it for a few weeks. I eventually downloaded the beta to try it. I still didn't have it for some reason. It just wouldn't show for me. I figured Adobe was still slowly rolling it out. I even had the introduction when you pull up Photoshop telling me I had it. I have desktop Windows. I looked all over my contextual bar, Nothing.I looked up website tutorials, nothing.I've updated a few times before and after generative fill came out, nothing.Uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing.Youtube tutorials, nothing.I made several types of selections to see if I'm doing anything wrong, nothing.I'm losing hope on this thing. someone please advise me.

What is the issue? and how to download the photoshop beta app?

Using MacOS Monterrey 12.7.2, Photoshop Beta 25.6 his is what happens if I use the Remove Tool (see image attached)

PS Version 25.4 m.2417Windows 11 Pro 23H2 OS build 22631.2715I have two separate tabs open and when I zoom in on the image on one of the tabs, the zoom level is mirrored on the other tab. So, if I zoom the first tab to 100%, and the second tab, which was originally set to 50%, will zoom to 100%. And conversely, if I then zoom the second tab back down to 50%, the first tab will also zoom down to 50%. This happened after I applied the Super Zoom Neural Filter on the original image in the first tab, and set the output to “New document”. The second tab is the Super Zoom image.I expect each tab to retain the zoom level that I set regardless of the other tab's zoom level.

When I saved a file in Photoshop Beta v25.5 m2464 on Windows 11 23H2 22631.3007 my Save Window froze and simply said, “Working on it…”. It was only a small simple file, single layer, with a transparent background. Had to use task manager to stop Photoshop.

I scanned a paper photo at 600 resolution with the name photo-orig, opened it in Photoshop, and wanted to save a copy called photo-edit.  Over and over, it suggested a medium image quality of 5 instead of the 10 or 12 I like.  Degrading a shot down to 5 should be a conscious (and rare) choice, not the default!  Why is this suddenly happening and is there something I can do to get it to always be 12?  Or at least 10? I could see it maybe saves the last one you used instead of defaulting at all, but I've tried setting it to 12 repeatedly and it keeps coming back with 5 the next time. I've heard that re-saving a photo does always degrade it some and there's nothing I can do about that, but Photoshop shouldn't be suggesting that I do!  Thank you all! Please note:  I'm not SUPER techie so if there are steps in your answer, please include then instead of assuming that i know where things are.  🙂 If it makes a difference, I'm on B

Windows 10. Updated Nvidia graphics card. Beta 24.6.0 Start with LR classic and PS beta closed.Open LR classic.Edit a PSD from LR to PS. Select edit original (previously edited photo with layers for further editing)Using a brush or lasso tool lines are created that shoot off to the left corner of the screen. This is using a mouse and intermittently when using a wacom pen. The problem with the mouse seems constant. If PS is opened before LR Classic the brush (so far) seems to act normally. Also it is impossible to select the help menu when this is happening. Selecting help results in the Plugin menu as soon as you try to make a selecteion. Selection Window give you the view menu. 

  Generative Fill is not working from one day to another.
