Hello

Is it possible to export a pack shot of a product in cleapr plastic packaging (plus labels) - so that when it is exported the clear packing is transparent and can be placed over different backgrounds or colours on a website etc

Any advice / knowledge will be much appreciated, thanks

Hi @Gee.Eff, welcome to the community!
If I’m understanding your goal correctly, you might be able to get that effect by adjusting the opacity of the layer with the plastic wrapping. Just make sure that layer only contains the plastic, and that the labels and product are on separate layers. This way, only the plastic will appear transparent.
You can learn more about layer opacity here:

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply.

I will give it a try - will that opacity carry across when output as a PNG ??

Hi @Gee.Eff! That's right, when exporting a PNG, you can keep transparency and partial opacity. PNGs support transparency so backgrounds can show through, and elements can have different levels of opacity. Super useful for things like logos, icons, and layered images.
Let me know how it goes!
