Generative AI fail - "We've encountered an issue and can't complete...." when background is black

I use a macbook pro, OS version 15.0.1.

Adobe Photoshop 26..0.0

In adobe, when i try to do an AI generative fill i get the error messag "We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request at this time. Please try again later."

I tried a different internet connection, still no luck.

It's been like this for two days - since the last update.

Thanks.

This has been happening to me non stop for the past couple of days and is driving me crazy. I understand the community guidelines message however it doesnt seem to be working at all. I edit photos for a men’s clothing brand and the problem is persisting even when there are not shots of models.

It seems this might be a general issue a number of users are encountering at the moment.

This looks like it's on Abode's end. Update of the fonctionality ?! not sure but i would suggest giving them a little time for it to be resolved.

(  i have tried re-installing PS Beta with older versions , same issue. )

On this end, the generative fill is not working on a flat black background (#000000), but if you raise it to #050505 the generative AI works.

I resolvd this (sort of).

It won't do generative fills on a totally black background (#000000) but if you nudge it up just a tad above black (#050505) it works fine every time.
