I cannot open pictures in Photoshop

I started Photoshop Course, the mentor uploaded the images we can use. When i try to open them this is what happens. How can i do it?

The app does not have any updates, it is updated already

The mentor has uploaded the pictures we can use. I downloaded the zip file, extracted it and when i try to open them from File > Open / this window shows up.

Have you tried opening the same images in a different application like Photos?

Does this happen with any image you try to open? Or any specific image formats?
