Bom dia senhores, gostaria de entender o porquê do photoshop consumir todo o restante do meu disco C, muitas das vezes 10 a 20Gb, sendo que os discos de trabalhos são outros, como D e E. E outra, o photoshop e o cretive cloud não estão instalados no disco C, e sim no disco D e E.   

For the last few weeks it seems whenever I save Photoshop PSD files it can take a minute or two, very slow.In preferences I do NOT have "Disable Compression of PSD and PSB files" checked.   Saving files to my machine, not an external drive. Used to be very fast.   Can be on very small files.Thanks for any ideas to solve.

I am in the middle of a pretty large editing job and Photoshop is driving me crazy. My computer reboots every 10-15 minutes when working in Photoshop. This usually happens when I use the remove- tool, or tometimes when I move or resize a layer. I have lost a lot of work in the last days, because it even crashed while saving and the PSD was rendered useless. Though in Dutch, I have pasted some information below.GPU drivers are updated, as Photoshop itself. Before working on shadows and colours i would like to be able to add bottles with the brand visible. Every time I resize the bottle to make it realistic it becomes a mess. I also tried resizing, keeping proportions but it's still not good. The reason i think it's doable it's because there's a lot of pictures with this same propotions of someone that has a bottle next to him with the brand visible, so I guess I'm makling some mistake here. Any advice?

Hi,From one day to another the alphabet keys stopped working on Photoshop. The odd part is other keys like ctrl/alt shift , function, space and numbers keys work perfectly.I have already tried the following:-restart everything and close other programs,-reset the preferences,-uninstall photoshop, install the current release (26.4.1),-a different keyboard. My only clue is a windows update while starting right before the problem appeared. But windows updates just usually happen... Attached my computer specs.I browsed similar threads, much of whitch indicated to change the app install language to default (English international), which already was. I'd welcome any clue!

Hello, have you any idea, why Photoshop crash everytime when I mask objedt? Graphics drivers are latest.

I'm not sure to how phrase this question,  but here goes.  In the screen shot below I show an image which is a result of a Photo Merge in Lightroom.  The composite stretched the bottom part and shrank the top, so that the poster which is repeated throughout the image is different sizes, even though it's the same poster.  I used Perspective Warp to straighten it up, see 2d screenshot, but the aspect ratio of the posters do not line up - they are the same width but different heights.  Is there a way to make the posters more or less uniform in size and aspect ratio in a single operation - that is, not applying perspective warp or some other tool individually to different sections of the file?  Thanks.      

I’ve noticed that recent updates to Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) have removed the automatic grayscale color profile (such as Gray Gamma 2.2) that used to be applied when converting images to Black & White. On a Mac CMD+spacebar pulls up Spotlight, so it does not work to zoom in ACR or PS 2020. Although the shortcut can be disabled in System Preferences on the Mac, that is not convenient since I loose that universal search option. Rather, there should be a way to edit the keyboard shortcut in PS 2020. If I look up Default keyboard shortcuts where the command "Switch to Zoom In tool" is listed (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html), under View Images, I learned, "This partial list provides shortcuts that don’t appear in menu commands or tool tips."  Why can't it be included somewhere in Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts? 

Mi Photoshop de escritorio presenta errores después de la última actualización de Windows y de adobe. No deja cambiar las fuentes cuando voy a insertar un texto y la función de relleno generativo no hace nada cuando se le da la orden. Alguno le ha pasado lo mismo, alguien sabe cuál es la solución?

For a week or so now when printing, the colors are coming out quite faded, not like ink running out or needing cleaning, but just like the wrong profile or something. I tried a different printer, same problem. Tried printing from other software too, same problem. I've tried every combination of settings I could possibly think of. It looks like Photoshop did update to 25.12.3 nine days ago. That seems too coincidental to not be related.   Has anyone else encountered this? I am running Monterey 12.7.6 I know I'm behind but I'm hesitant to update because this is an older iMac and it's telling me when I hit Update Photoshop that it may not run on my computer. Any ideas? Should I risk updating PS anyway?

Is it possible theoretically?   I need an emboss adjustment layer  working on the fly  while I edit grayscale  layer composition . A photogrammetry produced height . For pre-view /visualize  purpose.    The filter shader  itself is simple like 2x2 .       But  does Adobe have an SDK or something to write that sort of modifications/plugins ?  Something ready pre-made   maybe to change just the GPU shader part and re-compile?   Any open source attempts ? 

Hi When I open my photoshop, after a few seconds a Black rectangule appear in the middle of the screen with a white trim around it. I can't offclick it, gives me windows warning beeps like I can't use photoshop underneath the rectangle. I don't know what this rectangle is about, there's nothing on the it, its completely black, I can see my entire photoshop underneath, the project (if I happen to open one before the rectangle appears) and everything else, but I can't clik on anything BUT the black box :S Any ideas here?I've worked with for years, and it now started to do this, I got projects that I can't continue.... I'm attaching a screenshot of it (it appears empty below the rectangle due  proprietary purposes, but the files thumbnails were present underneath it)

Hello,I just signed up for the student free trial which includes photoshop. I purchased the free trial so that I could fix some blurred photos. I looked at the instructional videos that are provided through Photoshop, and the only video that popped up on how to fix a blurred photo was a video showing how to use the Shake Reduction tool. However, I was just informed by an Adobe representitive that the Shake Reduction tool was removed from the 2024 version. I would like to suggest that the video for the Shake Reduction tool be removed from the 2024 version, or at least have it explain that the Shake Reduction tool is only available in older versions. For me, knowing that would have saved me a lot of time and frustration, as that tool is the only one I was needing to use and that is why I purchased the free trial. P.S I am an amature when it comes to Photoshop, any suggestions on other ways to fix a blurred photo would be appreciated. 

Let's say I have my main banner layout: (photos used are only for reference, not actual designs)and I want to resize it to different other sizes, like these ones for example:   Is there a way to automate the layouts while still having the elements proportional to their images sizes? Can it only be done via scripting or are there other tools in photoshop that can be used?

Hi,I have an existing custom guide layout and there is no way to save the layout simply by pressing a save option in the submenus shown in the attachment.It appears you have to go to the sub-menus first before creating the guide layout in the first place, and then painstakingly enetre in the measurement numerical value of each guide.This guide in the attachment was created by dragging from the ruler edges, like you normally do. And I just want to now save it in one click, like anything else.Reagrds Wayne

When i try to use "Point Color" in Photoshop, after i made some changes, i press "OK" to validate my options and nothing happens.I get stuck in that menu and have to use windows task manager to close Photoshop.Does anyone knows a solutions or it's someting to report to Adobe?Image atached for reference.Thanks

Open PS 2025 and dialog pops up, "Shift your perspective and hone in on edits by rotating the canvas."The text should read, "Shift your perspective and home in on edits by rotating the canvas."This is a common error. "Hone" means to sharpen, as a blade on one's wit. "Home in on" means to navigate, as "homing" pigeons used to do or missiles "homing in on" their targets. 

I probably worded that title really badly but I'll try to describe.   A few weeks back I was given a template file for doing some advertising website takeovers for a games website. In the file were a few Artboards, including a Visual Artboard with the website mockup that showed how the design of Artboard 1 (and 2, 3, etc) would look in place on the website.   After a while I realised that as I updated, say, Artboard 1 (and perhaps after saving the PSD, I don't recall), the 'visual' Artboard (i.e. the Artboard that showed the finished design on a web page mockup) automatically updated with the design from Artboard 1. I never output Artboard 1 - never hit Save as... or Export As... but Visual Artboard was updating it automatically as I went.   "Neat," I thought. "I'll take a look at that feature when I'm not so busy."   But now I'm not so busy, and I cannot find how to achieve that magic. Was it a dream? or is this achievable? HiI have a client who changes frosting colors on cookies for each holiday. 2 weeks ago, I was able to select the frosting I wanted to change then change my foreground color to (red), which is the color I am trying now.  I open the paint brush and select color mode.  When I painted 2 weeks ago, I got the color selected and the frosting texture below showed through.  Now I am trying to do 4th of July colors and the red is coming out a very light pink, even though all opacities are 100%.  What changed? The hue saturation layer does not work either.  Thank youJoe

I'm experiencing an issue that I haven't been able to resolve.Photoshop on my laptop is lagging significantly, even when working with small files. Every action I take—such as zooming in and out—takes a few seconds to respond. This lag only occurs when my graphics processor (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti) is active in Photoshop.Here are my current settings in Photoshop:Photoshop version I'm currently using is: 26.7.0When I disable the graphics processor, Photoshop runs much more smoothly. I understand how to turn the grid on and off.  However, recently whenever I open a file, Photoshop is showing the grid.  Since I almost never use the grid (and certainly not as my first task when working with a newly opened file), this is an annoyance.  Can anyone tell me how to change the default behavior so that the grid is hidden?  Forum posts on this seem to be mostly from many years ago.
