Is anyone having issue using the Define brush preset? Trying to create brush from my logo...

Define brush preset stays greyed out. I open my logo file in PS then select all. Define brush tool stays greyed out. What am I doing wrong. This always worked fine in earlier versions. I'm am working on a brand new MacBook Pro M4.

You don't need to make a selection.

Where the screen is full black will become a fully opaque brush.

Where the screen is white will be full transparent.
