Editing slideshows in Element 2018

I have just acquired the latest Photoshop Elements and have been able to create and save slideshows. I can edit them at the same time that I create them but can't see how to pick up a saved slideshow for further editing. I can see them in the catalog but can't see how to invoke/edit them. Is it in fact possible or do I have to create it perfectly the first time and export it for future use?

What exactly do I do to open it? The menus at the top are not functioning and double clicking on the picture just selects and deselects it.

A saved slideshow will have the play icon (top-right on thumbnail) and double – clicking will usually generate the preview. Alternatively select the thumbnail (gets checkmark) and right-click and choose Edit. See image below:

Did you save the project or simply create an mp4 file?

It should be possible to open the project from Organizer.

    Check the menu:

    View >> Media Types

It is possible to un-check Photos, Videos & Audio; so that only projects are displayed.

I am not sure about saving as a project. I saved the slideshow by responding to the prompt when I closed it. I only gave it a name and exited. Is there another/better way to do it?

If you can find the project thumbnail in Organizer you should be able to open it. You can then add/remove images/clips, change music and template etc.

    Hi Keith:

This is the Photoshop forum. I'll move your question to the Photoshop Elements forum so that you can get an answer.
