How to Clear Elements 2025 Cloud Usage

Hi, I'm very new to Elements 2025. I noticed the Cloud sync was auto activated and syncing images I do not want in the Cloud, I changed the preferences to stop Cloud sync but the Cloud usage still reports 2.6 Gb used of 5Gb. How can I clear this usage and be sure nothing is in the Cloud?

Please see attached image.

Thank You

  • Click on the Elements Web button in the lower panel.  This will take you to the online page for your Elements account.

  • Click on the Media tab that is displayed.  This will take you to a webpage with a folder named something like Elements Media or Files.  If you click on it, it should display all of the photos that have been synched with your catalog.

  • You should find a command that allows you to delete  either the entire folder or else allows you to select the files within the folder and to delete them.  The command may be found under an elipsis button.
  • Once you have deleted the web folder, I believe you should go back to the Organizer and click on the Sync Now button in the top right of the window.  Hopefully, this will remove the synced photo icons from the synced media in your catalog and only Local Media will appear.  This process can take a long time and may not work in one go.

Unfortunately, like  you, I did not want any of my media in the Elements Cloud and I have successfully removed all files.  But it has been a while since I last performed that function, so my instructions may not be exact.  I believe I have given another user more complete instructions and if I can find them, I will provide a link.  Otherwise, you may just want to contact Adobe Support  and ask them for help.   You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)

Thank you Greg, much appreciated. Strangely there are no Images in the Web Media folder, so they have been removed. But the 2.67Gb out of 5Gb usage report still shows. Despite clicking the Sync button to refresh.

I'll contact support as you suggest.

Many Thanks.

I spoke with support yesterday, they checked their backend systems and there is another area within Adobe online account services (accessed through Creative Cloud) that contained many historical images. So it was not just the Cloud > Media involved. All cleared now. Thanks All

IN ORGANIZER:   EDIT>PREFERENCES>AUTOSYNC.  Just uncheck everything.

Hi Glenn, Thanks

Yes I have done that, but the Clod usage still reports 2.67Gb used out of 5Gb. So it is holding on to something somewhere.
