Ui am pretty new in Adobe Premiere Pro. I added rectangles to show specific areas in my video. I found how to change the appearance, incl. line color, fill,  shadow etc. but I don't know how to specify the duration of a shape if I want it to appear only at a specific point and stay for just a few seconds.
Can you explain in detail, please?
Thank you.

Attached is a simple capture of a timeline with a graphic on it (V1)

Drag the rectangle onto the preview screen where you need it with V2 track enabled above. It will create a track with the graphic of the rectangle on it.

Define your settings for the rectangle in the Effects panel under the 'Shape' category, position scales line width etc

Finished result of preview window with graphic. Simply define length it appears by increasing and decreasing the length of the graphic clip on V2.

You can add a cross dissolve for example on start and end of the graphic clip so it blends in and out smoothly.

Is this what you needed?

Thank you very much. I did not realize that the graphic had been added above my video.
