Premiere Pro 2019 Slow, laggy.. freeze..

Hello,

Since i update to 2019 i cannot edit anymore. its crazy slow, freezing, lagging.

It does it on every project. old and new.
My driver are up to date.

I have a beast. everything was smooth before even 4k 60p files..

Geforce GTX 1080 Ti
I9-7940x CPU @ 3.10 Ghz

64 Go ram

I also try proxy. nothing change still laggy.

I did a check for virus etc. nothing. other programe run smooth..

Anyone have the same issue with 2019 update ?

    funny how after all this time adobe didn't care much about this huge issu...  I tried everything. realy everything.

    The only think that work is re-installing windows.  realy sad that i have to re-install all my other app and every plugin etc. because one app doesn't work properly..

    I hope it will help other people. I'll mark it as solve. even if the reason of the lag are still unknow...

    I updated my Nvedia driver. and maybe that is the probleme.

    In the project setting i have Cuda activated but it is still slow.

    I'll try to unistall the last driver and install the old one.

      I have the same problem after last premiere update

      when i export a project 5 mins long, now takes 1h10m to end. Before the same project took about 10mins

      hope there's a fix very soon

        Hey Verdasca,

        I have a suspicion, you didn't update your graphics drivers, so PPro can't use CUDA Acceleration anymore, this is why it takes so long.

        Go to File -> Project Settings -> General, check if CUDA is activated , or Software Only,

        If it's software only, update your graphics drivers:

        Beta and Archive Drivers | NVIDIA

          i install the last Cuba driver and Problem Resolved!!!

            Yh man I've had the same issues. Nothing I do seems to make it work. Hopefully there's a fix soon.

              Hey man,

              Does the play back like rhythmically stutter every second?

              Try to rollback your drivers, try  from the NVIDIA website; 1 x 416.x and 2x 411.x
