Steps to reproduce:    1. Cut Multicam clip into a sequence (Source name 66-1)    2. Right click on clip in sequence, choose "Rename"    3. Type in new name for clip within sequence only (Timeline name 066_0010)Result: Clip name in timeline still matches Source (66-1), but if right click and go back to "Rename" that information (066_0010) is still there.  If I export an EDL of the renamed clip, the new name (066_0010) is what shows up in the EDL.  Please note that "Show Source Clip Name and Label" is unchecked in the timeline settings.Expected: Multicam clip name in sequence should be the new name that assigned in the "Rename" window. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.5.0.48    OS: macOS v14.6.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 24

Adobe Premiere Beta  25.0.0 Build 25Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 I updated my Premeire to Beta  25.0.0 Build 25 and notice that when I create a new projetc there is a new achive that come together .pridx. What is that? Thanks

Hi All,I wonder if some one can help me with a problem that I have with Premiere Pro. I currently use Beta, both the same thing happens with bother versions. I film using Canon C70 video cameras using C-Log3. When I edit I use the BT709_CanonLog3-to-BT709_WiodeDR_65_FF_Ver2.0 LUT. I have recently changed to a new editing computer and when I transferred everything over, the LUT wasn't there so I reinstalled it from the original download. Now, when I edit and apply the LUT, the video is really dark, to the extent that it is really difficult to bring it back, whereas previously I just increased the exposure and it was pretty much good to go. All of the other camera and PC settings are unchanged. Has anyone else encountered this issue or has any idea what is going on. I have been working on it for days and am getting nowhere. TIA for any help. Martin

I see the team has added the crop effect to Motion. That is fine but cannot you put the parameters together so they can be twirled up (i have no use for the effect) As of now they take in a lot of room and have to adjust my workspace in order to get to the other effects.  

OK, so Transcribe has been part of Premiere for over a year now. Why is this not doing a better job in transcribing video?  Example: Every video I start with my name. In the last 100 videos, it only did it correctly probably 3 times. This last video it transcribed as "Sheriff Powers". If I use any other transcribe AI device and say "Jeffrey Powers of Geekazine", it will transcribe as such. Even Geekazine gets transcribed correct 95% of the time through most of the speech to text programs I use.  It's also about common words. It misses a lot that (once again) other services will catch and correct.  These are not poor audio  or super fast talking videos. I feel this should be working a lot better.  At least have it highlight areas it had a hard time transcribing.  End of day, I'll edit video (using text), but if I want to put it into a video, I'll upload to YouTube, pull the transcript, then add it to Premiere. 

hey i updated to the newest beta and some of my audio is making no sound as per the straight lines and i cant link media any help would be great

Very peculiar.I have interviews where two cameras are combined into a multicamera clip which, in the source monitor, plays back fine. but in the program monitor one of the cameras is not smooth playback. All the other non-multicam, including camera B plays back very smoothly. But Camera a, only when edited in as part of a multi-cam clip, plays back stuttering. (Audio is fine). If I replace each clip with the direct source, it's fine. Annoyingly tedious but fine.Hmmm...

I keep having issues with this audi and video clock error popping up constantly. I'm running 48GB of RAM. Updates are good. I am editing a feature length film. I started getting these errors maybe 70% into the edit. I'm now working on sound design and score. And its frustrating.

Another wish list item for Properties panel: At the bottom of the panel, add details readout of the selected clip:- Duration (trim length) (MOST important)- Overall length (if trimmed)- Path on storage media (if applicable) 

I'm applying the crop tool with Premiere's newest Beta bluid and it the controls no longer appear in the effects panel. Has it been moved somewhere else? Worked normally in the last build. Screen shows interface, Crop has been dragged and dropped on the clip twice but I see no controls anywhere.

Hello Partners!PPro Beta 25.0 builds contain CEP 12. To enable unsigned panels to load again, enable PlayerDebugMode for CEP 12. In the Windows Registry, you would add a (String) key named `PlayerDebugMode`, with a value of 1, to:\Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.12 [If you've been developing on that same Windows system, you should see a PlayerDebugMode key under \CSXS.11...] On MacOS, enter the following in Terminal, then relaunch Finder: defaults write /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.CSXS.12.plist PlayerDebugMode 1  That should do it!

I am working Premiere Pro Beta 24.6.0 and i noticed that the essential graphics panel is gone!?  It was a big part of my workflow in dropping video assets into a mogrt file for a open I do every week.  I do know that you can access the dropdown window in the Effects controls Panel but I am wondering if I need to change my workflow or will the essentional graphics panel will be back in the final build.

Premiere (Beta) now introduces functionality to copy and paste entire audio track effects racks.   Right-click on the effects rack for any track in the Audio Track Mixer panel and copy or paste the entire effects rack from one track to another.  (See the attached GIF animations for details.)   Known issues: As Premiere does not have a "selected track" model, keyboard shortcuts cannot be used for these commands. This new button behavior for Insert and overwrites as nests or individual clips is not very obvious (at least not to me). Highlighting the button (icon shows clips in a sequence)  for me would mean individual clips, but it's rather the opposite, you end up with a nest.     Previous icon was much easier to use.

Hi, I have a Canon C70.And record almost all my work in Log 2. And edit it on my Premiere Beta Version. Never had any problem editing MXF files. Never make any proxy. Since april 2024, my MXF are playing kinda of slow. It plays well, but sometimes it gets slow. Never had his problem before. Really liking the new Pan and Zoom option in the Viewers. I'm using the scroll wheel on my mouse and its very intuitive. Once thing I would love is the option to quickly jump to "Fit" or 100% in the view options. I'd like to be able to quickly zoom in, pan around and then pull back out to a "normal" view without too many extra clicks. Maybe double-clicking the mouse wheel? Or a quick modifier+click. I know I could probably add my own Scale to Fit option in Keyboard Shortcuts but it would be nice to add it in the tool itself.

I'm wondering if it may be possible to set an automatically generated captions track to create two lines of subtitle text instead of just one. Steps I'm following:• I'm using early access to the speech-to-text feature• Navigated to captions window and selected the Captions tab• Clicked "Transcribe sequence" and edited the generated transcription• Selected "Create new caption track" and selected "Subtitle" for format• The generated subtitles are single lines of text (image attached) Single lines of subtitles means that the text displays very briefly on screen, particularly when the captions are for people who speak quickly. Two lines is typically more standard for subtitles, and I'd like the option to do this without having to manually combine two lines at a time and then re-edit the timings for each caption.  In the Captions window or in Premiere settings, I can't find a way to potentially create two lines automatically. Adobe -- If this option doesn't yet

I probably use paste attributes more than most, but curious if it makes sense to give users the ability to quickly select/deselect check boxes in the paste attributes dialog box. I am constantly trying to paste specific attributes and it would be great to quickly deselect all the other properties I don't want to paste. It could work similar to how you toggle on/off track targeting in the timeline by shift-clicking or toggling on/off layer visibility in AE by clicking and dragging up/down.
