So, it's been a while since I've started a new project.  I loaded the files into a folder on my media drive, then started Premier and clicked to start a new project. The first thing I see is a display of clips from the wrong folder in the Import page. The first thing I saw was the breadcrumbs, so I drilled into my media folder, and all the files appeared, and I expected that to set the destination for the new project.  But then I looked up and "Project Location" was still set at the folder for the last project I was using.  Annoyed, I set that to the correct folder, gave the project a name, and then clicked "Create" (which is at the far bottom right of the screen, hard to find). The project created and all the clips were now on the timeline, but because the first image was a vertical still shot, the whole timeline had taken on those parameters. Totally wrong. I'd like to see New Project give the old dialog box that allowed sequence settings. Then if I want

There are an awfull lot of them (imo too many and they do not fit all in the top bar) I only use two or three of my own. Cannot you put in an option to select a few or all and move them in one go to Do Not Show instead of me having to move them one at a time.      

I would like to suggest Adobe to include an option to disable the auto scroll function in the transcript and caption (text) panel. As much as it's convenient for the caption to scroll according to the playback time, but it's annoying when you try to edit a previous or next caption, and the caption keeps move up and down while you click. The other issue is the double click to edit. It's a waste of time. And it's buggy too. Sometimes, double clicking doesn't work, and I have to click back and forth to get it to work. It's more apparent when it's at the end of the sequence. I really love how the subtitle now enjoys the same clip editing method as video clip. But I still very much prefer the old way of editing the text in subtitle.

This broke in this or the last build. The folder comes over but not its content. Instead I had to select all the individual files and then drag them into the project for import.

I noted with alarm that tape capture is being omitted in the latest builds. And then I tried it in the latest build and it's just a blank dialog.NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!I use tape capture all the time when capturing legacy tapes for clients. It's a big part of my business. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEGet this to the top of the development list. Make the default export folder (when you first go to export) the CURRENT PROJECT FOLDER, you know, the one that has the .prproj file in it that you're working on. I can't count the number of times I've exported something only to spend 15 minutes trying to find it in File explorer. For those who want it to stay in the last used folder, or a designated export folder, put those options in settings, but the default behavior should be to export to the current folder, then allow the user to select another. If the user selects another folder, have it stay with the project, so the next time the project is opened (after editing something else), it defaults to that folder. If the user opens another project, exports default to that project folder, or one that was saved in an earlier session of that project. (I think we've only been asking for this for about 10 years.)

Every now and then I test Premiere Pro beta and now with the newest beta I noticed that compared to the non-beta version timeline playback performance of Canon 8K RAW files (R5, R5C) is bad. This is both in my Windows PC and M1 MAX Macbook Pro 64GB. I get dropped frames in 4K timeline and clips scaled to 50% no matter what the playback resolution is. In the non-beta I get no dropped frames in 1/2 or 1/4 playback resolution. High quality playback is set to off in both. Adobe please check this. My PCAMD Ryzen 3960X64GBNvidia 2080 TI

Gettng a an error in the text panel. Every time I nest footage that has been transcribed, I get an error in the text panel. Neither reloading the panel nor restarting the app seem to help.

Using Beta and It won't let me move audio Tracks on certain layers when I drag it in it keep creating additional audio tracks even though it's further on the time line.

please bring back the status bar info. It no longer tells me progress when loading.. I know the new progress button at the top...but the status bar was more useful

quick export does not work and regular export keeps spinning

When using a sequence I copied (one that has already been transcribed) - I can not retranscribe it. It gives the option, but nothing happens.To duplicate, transcribe footage, copy sequence, replace footage with other stuff, try and retranscribe. CUrrently im forced to export and retrascribe that.  Most recent beta build as of this ost, Build 56

In Premiere Pro beta version 23.1 build 38 or later, we will now remember the last used export preset, making it easier to do subsequent exports from the same sequence. In the previous version, the export preset was reset to default.   Presets are still remembered per sequence. You can always change the preset for any sequence before export. We will also remember the location on the disk where you saved the last export.   Here is an example: Sequence A – export using an H.264 preset Sequence B – export using a ProRes preset Next time you export either sequence, it will present the last preset used for that sequence.    When exporting one or more clips from the project panel directly, we will remember the preset used, and this is a global setting across the whole project.   We have a few questions for the beta community: Would you prefer the preset setting to be retained per sequence or across the whole project? Would you prefer the export mode to work differ

in the beta version of Adobe Premiere 23,1,0, the following functions do not work: When adding icons , see Figure 1 , they are added, but the next time the project is loaded, they must be added again .I can output the project to h264 format , windows system does not recognize these files , see Figure 2

Hi, Premiere Pro (beta) 4.3.2.25After Effects (beta) 17.1.3.21Media Encoder (beta) 14.3.2.14 BUG: When Queing a sequence through Media Encoder containing a MOGRT, the state of the checkboxes in the MOGRT is ignored, resulting in all checkbox options being rendered. This screen shot shows how the MOGRT should be rendered. When rendering in Premiere Pro the MOGRT functions correctly: When Queued in Media Encoder the render looks like the following screen shot, with a graphic top and bottom of frame. In the screen shot above you can see a checkbox called "Top Strap", is unchecked, however Media Encoder appears to be ignoring it, rendering both top and bottom straps, as well as any other checboxes, regardless of state. 

Transcript only extracted a portion of the text the first time I tried it. Can't get it to work again for some reason,

Support for all Type 1 fonts will end in early 2023. This change is in the latest Beta build (Pr23.2xBeta047) and users will no longer have the ability to author content using Type 1 fonts after the next public release. This affects all Adobe products. I am transcribing in order to try out the text edit. I have three separate audio tracks. All three appear to have been transcribed but the panel only shows two of the tracks. if I reorder the tracks it shows only the top two. Any thoughts on how I see all three tracks that have been transcribed?
