In both the shipping and the most recent public beta versions, if you have a BRAW clip set to the Canon Clog option in the Autokroma you see a log image in the program monitor.   But if you create a proxy via Premiere's create proxy option, you get a normalized proxy ... not log at all.   Checking the properties for the clip in the bin, it shows 'bmdesign' for the original media for both gamut and gamma, even though different options are actually used by the program.   And weirdly, the proxy clip is listed by Premiere as being in Colorspace 601 ... !   Um, whay is going on here? If one wishes to set a log variant in the BRAW controls, how do you get Premiere to create a log proxy file?   @TrentHappel @Francis-Crossman17221443  ?   Neil

Adobe Premiere Pro СС2021-2022 (Beta) Different sound levels in English and Russian local

I'm using the early version of the Speech to Text feature and I love it. It is really accurate and easy to use. The only thing I don't like so far is that when it converts the transcript to captions (using the subtitle option), it creates captions that are often very short (less than 1 second). This is not usable for my purposes and I was wondering if there is a way to adjust this setting to force the captions to be longer when being converted from the transcript. Sometimes the caption is only 2 or 3 words and up for less than a second, making it very difficult to read and follow. I know I can merge captions, but that is a lot of extra work to go through and fix.  Thanks!

Solo and Mute-Buttons don't work. If all buttons are deactivated there is no sound. If I activate to much buttons there is also no sound. Just if there are one or two solo tracks activated I can hear audio.

In the beta version of Premiere, Export > Match Source defaults to the H.264 codec.  This is wrong. It should default to the codec used by the sequence. Larry

Hi there,I'm testing out the new Captions functionality and trying to get them to match what our company uses in their style guide/branding.For one line, I've got it pretty much bang on.But for two lines, I can't lower the text down to where it needs to be.I thought I could just force the issue by amending it in the Effects panel but there is nothing there.I don't undertsand why in the Essential Graphics panel that it will only go so far down?Is there anything I can do here or am I missing something incredibly stupid?Any help be much appreciated....Matty https://youtu.be/_venO5j9VgA 

Hi, I really want to use the autotranscribe function but yet i don't have this option on Premiere Pro version -last update). I register myself on the beta program but i read that it's several month delay to have an answer ? Is that true ? Can we speed up the process ? Cheers- Damien 

Premiere beta needs clearer wording that creating a Favorite (clicking a star) is the step that's necessary to have a custom preset show up in the Presets list. I was selecting the preset name, then, click the OK button - only to have nothing happen. Larry

The new Import workflow is excellent for smaller, visual projects. But it is not helpful for interviews, documentaries or projects where the codec shot by the camera is not the codec needed for editing.It needs:* A preference setting to bypass this screen and go to the older create a project / sequence dialog* Adding audio waveforms.* Better display of audio-only files, such as sound effects and music* Better display of waveforms for interviews* The ability to display other metadata in List view Thanks,Larry

When displaying the new Export panel (beta) on a Mac using a reduced screen size (1280 x 720) the column headings don't align with the column data.See attached file. Larry

Needed to import an image sequence as a clip, but was unable to find how to do it with the new Import dialog. Had to use the classic way to do it and that worked fine. Nice job on the new export system.  I'm getting used to it but it seems to work well. Especially appreciate seeing the PATH to the destination!  That's long been on my wish list.

Using the beta versoin (15.0), typing a workspace keyboard shortcut - Shift + Option + 1 or 2 - hangs Premiere until it crashes. All workspaces - both custom and default - need keyboard shortcuts to save having to go to the Workspace menu all the time.

In the Premiere Pro (beta - 15.0), using the Export panel, Match Source - and all the High Bitrate- settings convert the sequence into H.264.  This is incorrect. Match Source should use the same codec that the sequence uses, otherwise, it would be impossible to export a high-quality master file. (Well, not impossible, but we shouldn't have to tell Premiere that H.264 is not matching the source.  

Why does Premeire frequently blow off all my workspace presets, sequence settings and keyboard shortcuts??? I had them synced on the cloud and when I updated to v22 build 7 they are not syncing back up. greg

Hi there, is anyone testing out the Auto Transcribe function?@AdobeVideo if you are listening, feel free to contact me to discuss....One of the things I noticed straight off the bat, is that there doesn't seem to be an option to generate the subtitles in capital letters.Is this a functionality that will be brought in? Most social videos we do require everything to be caps.Many thanks,Matty

1. Putting workspaces in a drop down box is less efficient. It was much easier to switch back and forth among workspaces by just clicking on the tabs. It is more clicks now and slower to use the drop down box.2.The captions worspace is really hardly usable. It used to be when I was in the captions workspace, I could click on the caption text in the text area, and I could see how it would appear in the program monitor. Now the program monitor isn't even visible while in captions mode..

Had my first play with the Productions workflow this morning. I followed the very clear guidelines on coverting an existing (27MB) project into a production. It worked a treat and the resulting (5MB) 'Current Edit' project is wonderfully responsive. Brilliant. Am wondering now if and how I might best incorporate productions into our existing workflow long term with respect to archiving old projects. My existing process in that regard would include creating a copy of the full organised project file, albeit removing any unneeded sequences, and saving that master project file alongside the programme masters. The original media would be archived separately.  But with the productions workflow, short of manually constructing a single master 'project'... exactly like converting an existing project to a production, but in reverse... are there any guidelines? I can see that I can create a standalone project from a sequence, and use 'Generate Master Clips for Media'  to

How do you scale and crop on the new export? I often scale to make widescreen dvds full frame.

Hi, I have been using the autotranscribe fuction on a real-world project and it's been a revelation to my production team and become part of our pipeline for creating transcripts for editors and directors. However I have run into problem and I'm not sure whether it's related to my usage or in the back-end (in the cloud), but it's throwing up 'Quota is insufficient to start transcription (2488/494) when I go to upload the timeline? Feature request: If this is because I have uploaded too many files, would it be possible to have running count of available uploads or the ability to cancel / delete projects if there is more than one timeline? Cheers- Simon
