ROBOHELP_PDF Export Layout and Template Integration

I'm currently encountering several issues when exporting my project to PDF in Adobe RoboHelp. These include layout problems such as incorrect or inconsistent numbering, misaligned or uncentered figures, unexpected page breaks, and issues with the formatting and generation of the table of contents, list of figures/tables, and glossary. Additionally, I'm having trouble integrating my template properly into the PDF export, which affects the overall styling and structure of the final document. Any guidance or solutions to help resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated.

You should update to Update 5. Because you are on Update 1, you cannot do that from the Help menu. See https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/update-5-of-robohelp-2022-release-is-now-available/m-p/14889306 and follow the instructions there.

I suspect the missing items are because you have not created a Book TOC. See https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/toc_index_glossary/toc.htm

That enables you to add the missing items in Front or Back Matter.

You haven't said which version of RoboHelp you are using. Please always start a thread with this information.

Please go to Help > About and include the full version number.

These links are for RoboHelp 2022. There are similar links for earlier versions.

They will help you check your workflow is correct. The number of issues you list suggests something fundamentally wrong, possibly style issues in the source code. Do online outputs generate without these issues?

I suggest you look at the links to see if you can find anything wrong, then let's tackle the formatting issues one by one.

    Hello Peter,

Thank you so much for your reply. I do have RoboHelp 2022.1.188, and the online outputs are without these issues. I managed to create the header and the cover page, but I still have the problem that the Heading 1 elements are not showing in my PDF output, along with the table of contents, list of figures/tables, and glossary.
