Unable to update Photoshop or cancel update. It stops at 48%. How do I uninstall and reinstall?

Photoshop has an update. It stalls at 48% done. It I try to cancel it does not cancel no matter how long i let it run.

Sorry that we can’t move your question over to the right forum - this new forum platform hasn’t enabled all the old tools we moderators used to have (at least not yet).

There’s not much point in asking about Photoshop problem in a forum dedicated to Adobe’s RoboHelp product. :-)

Try https://community.adobe.com/p/photoshop or maybe https://community.adobe.com/download-install-615 as this seems to be an installation problem.
