I'm creating a exam with multiple choices per question. The idea is to, when the student clicks on one of the chekboxes, he receives a feedback color on that checkbox through colors.A simple system with red when wrong and green when right. In the forms options I didn't find nothing like that, and the only alternative I found was to create a JavaScript, but I don't know anything about that. I anexed a example file. The checkboxes are placed, but a just don't know how to gave this system with the colors.

Hi I use a software for my building surveys. When survey is finisjhed i log in and export as a PDF. Adobe seems to rotate some images 90o or 180o and some it leaves alone. In the software I use for the surveys the photos are all up the right way. Taken using an Ipad. Where the images are taken the right way up. So they are being sent the right way up. But when it gets to Adobe, its random as to which photo will be rotated and by how much. Is there a setting in Adobe where i can turn this all off. So it just brings in the document with phtoos as per the software I am using? This is especially annoying and time consuming when I have a 600 page document. It feels like it has got worse. The amount of images it rotates feels like a lot more than normal. Any help with this would be great. Thank you
I created a pdf from a Word document and set up protection suing an 8 character password. Then I had to make some changes in Word and re-created the PDF. But this time, when I tried to apply the password, Adobe gave me the message that the password needs at least 6 characters. I tried using a longer one but no matter what I did, Adobe would not accept my password selection. Any thoughts?
Hello - looking for some help with digital signatures. Currently have a document (in this case it is a permit that has been converted to replicate a front page a carbon page into Adobe PDF) which copies the fields on coloured page 1 to grey scaled (carbon) page 2. Page 1 goes in the field with a work team to perform tasks and page 2 stays in the permit office to maintain a record of current work activities. I have digital signatures set up on page 1 and page 2 - currently have to sign both pages before printing to authorise the work to go ahead. I would like to know how to only sign page 1 and that signature gets copied across to page 2 and if I need to clear the signature on page 1 it also removes itfrom page 2.Appreciate your help
Hello, One of our customer uses internal Digital signatures. The problem is, that signing a .pdf document via Adobe Reader randomly fails. The users have to try 10 times, before it works. Sometimes, it works on the first attempt. Also, sometimes no errors, but the signatures are not added to the documents. Sometimes, there are errors, but the documents are signed. It can work 3 days without problems and then, again this random errors. They have these problems locally and also with document based on shares.I've tried to disable automatic update of Adobe Reader, but it didn't solve the problem. I've added the signature in the Trusted Identities, it doesn't solve it either. Have you already seen this behavior?I've tried to troubleshoot, without success... Waiting for your tips... Thanks in advance. Best regardsTony

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2022.001.20085 and whenever I try to reduce a file's size, the file reduces by a couple of bytes or tells me that I've reached the maximum reduction. However, if I try to reduce the size again, it reduces, no problem. How can I fix it so I don't have to do the operation twice?
I have a file with several calculations in - see attached file. But one calculation works only partly - the field 'Intervalløn beregnet'. The calculation-script is: var q = getField("Aftalt timeløn").value;var n = getField("Reguleringsprocent").value;event.value = q*1924/n; 'Aftalt Timeløn' is a field that can be filled with a number, format is a number with two digits. 'Reguleringsprocent' is a field with a fixed numer, format number/no format, digit-seperater , or . (- none of these has made the soution for me) The problem:The file works fine in Adboe (at least at my pc)The file works fine in browser (Chrome), as long as the number filled in has no digits. The fault appears, if theres digits added in the number filled in - then the result just shows 'nan' How can I get the field to work properly?
Hello dear Adobe community, I work in IT for a company where I have to "support" one thing or another for Adobe users, in this case for Acrobat Pro.The usecase I have a problem with goes as follows:-convert a .jpeg into a .pdf with Adobe-set printer settings under "Advanced" > "Marks and Bleed" > check the checkbox "Page Information" ->reason being that the user needs the title, e.g. "IMG_001", of the picture on the actual pdf for a customer-print the file as PDF-select the location to save(now comes the problem)-the file name to save is NOT the original name the .jpeg file had, althouh it was named like that in Acrobat, but is now some gibberish like "asdase765adasdhg.pdf" (or it ended with ".tmp").This leads to the fact that the gibberish name will now be the "Page Information" mentioned earlier instead of "IMG_001". I could confirm that suspicion when opening the file properties of the converted .jpeg to .pdf where the same gibberish temp name was show

I have a Acrobat Form with a Dropdown field involved via its Export Value in a calculation script. Form fields work fine in Acrobat. When I request signatures, the dropdown Item selected reverses to the 1st Item listed in the Dropdown list in the Options tab. The only solution I've discovered is Deleting the Item/Values in the Option tab of the dropdown field and adding them to the field name per the Adobe tag guide and assigning to 'prefill' role, but this prevents accessibility to the dropdown when completing the form prior to sending for signature. My Acroform dropdown's Exported Value participates in the calculation prior to requesting signatures, so it's fine if I can find a solution to the following. Is there a way to keep the original Item selected in the dropdown field's Option Tab in the Acroform to display in the SignForm dropdown field when requesting signatures? Thanks in advance!- kemper
I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 11, which resulted in the removal of previously installed software, including Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD. Using the company portal, I downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud and installed Acrobat from there. However, I am unsure whether this version of Acrobat allows me to create forms and add fields such as e-signatures, text boxes, or other interactive elements. Previously, I had access to Acrobat DC, but it seems this version is no longer available in Adobe Creative Cloud.Could you please advise on the functionality of the current version from the image below and whether additional steps are required to enable these features? advise if these features are included in this version?
As soon as I click File>Create I am getting an error "Internal Error Occurred". I have gone through all the support discussion and tried uninstalling then reinstalling; checked AppData Folder (C:\Users\sarve\AppData\Roaming\Adobe) and ensured it has full control, but still getting this error. Acrobat DC was working fine till Yesterday. There was no update in windows or acrobat as well. I am using Windows 11 Pro. Please suggest solution. My colleague does not have any issue while running same version of acrobat dc. Regards
Some stupid website I use regularly forced me to "update" my Reader to Adobe Reader DC, but I have a fully licensed full version of Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find any place to reset my default for opening PDF files back to Adobe Acrobat X Pro. When I go into Windows 10 settings and select Pro as the default instead of Reader DC, it does not change the icon, nor does it change the default action. I cannot uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader DC because of websites I use that require it (unless you know of some way to trick them into beliving X Pro is OK), but I can't stand having PDF's opened with the Reader by default, and then I can't do anything with them, so need to manually open them from within X Pro. Any ideas or solutions would be a HUGE help. Thanks in advance for any help!!
New install of Acrobat on new Win11 machine has a highly annoying "feature". Older version for adding a shape (circle, square, etc.) selected from within the Comment group, which we use frequently to mark up pdf images, drawings, etc. You'd select the shape type, create the shape on the page, and that action would end. You could go on to highlight text, or do some other different action.NOW however, the shape creator remains active, so that any and every click on the page starts another instance of that shape. You have to MANUALLY select the pointer in order to turn off shape creation. Its VERY annoying and repetitive. Is there a way to force a "one-and-done" instance when adding shapes to a document?
Has this issue been resolved? I receive this error multiple times when opening a pdf.I've uninstalled Acrobat, reinstalled it, and kept my software up to date to rule out any issues that could arise from typical errors.I have tried going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\ and locate AdobeCollabSync.exeRight-click > Properties > Compatibility > checked the box run this program in compatibility mode for and selected Win7 from the list. Then clicked Apply OK, and rebooted the machine. I also made it so that the compatibility mode would affect all users. That didnt fix the issue. The only way that I have been able to workaround the issue is to:a) Close Acrobat.b) Open the Windows Task Manager's Details pane by pressing CTL+ALT+ Delete and selecting task manager. Confirm that the Processes tab is selected. Find AdobeCollabSync in the process list. Click to highlight and right click to end or stop the process. c) Then in C:\Program Files (x8
Hello,If I want to find a specific text I would use CTRL+F. If there are multiple results I would click on the arrow poiting right (>) until I get to the last result. If I click again a pop up appears saying "Adobe Acrobat has finished searching the document. No more matches were found." How can I disable this pop up? It's annoying to constantly have to close it. I want Adobe to loop back to the first result if I click the arrow while on the last result. For example, if there are 3 incidences of a specific text, I can click the arrow and show 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3. At 3/3 (the third result) I want it to go back to result 1/3 (instead of having a pop up).
