Hi. I'm a graphic designer for over 20 years but really need to step up my skills to incorporate more digital design. Anyone know where I can find a mentor or advice on what training is necessary these days? Recommendations for courses, programs, etc. are welcome! Thanks.

02/24/21 - Adobe has joined other big-tech companies in the creation of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) the goal of which is to create tools which will address 'disinformation' online. Unless 'disinformation' is defined and governed by the people, then these tools are aimed at providing the few the ability to censor any dissenting opinion, programmatically. Explained as a long term scalable, ecosystem-wide solution to provenance-based media authenticity, C2PA had used it's artistic expression to create elegant marketing parlance to mask technology that will reveal the EXACT path of transmission of 'assets' deemed unsuitable. This portends consequences to those whose content is not determined to be of "high-integrity." HelloLooking for advice…How are designs agencies making the most from Creative Cloud?I have 8 in my team. We typically use the top 3 Apps [Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign]. Also Animate, Premiere Pro and After Effects.But there are so many other Apps available in our subscription. I would like to know what other agencies are using, and how.Thank you in advance.

We often bash Adobe for having one of the least user-friendly websites around.  I am not arguing that Adobe's site leaves much room for improvement but compared to what I experienced yesterday from my health insurance provider's website, Adobe's site doesn't seem nearly so bad anymore.   Without naming names, I will just say that this is a major health insurance company. So large in fact that my State's Governor put them in charge of distributing ALL Covid vaccines here.  But their website really, really sucks!  So my confidence in them is not running high at the moment.   After a miserable experience trying to enter my primary care doctor's name and a payment method so I could make an online payment, I had to give up.  Nothing I tried worked with any browser from any of my computers.     I decided to complete an online form to give them some feedback about the site, there was a drop-list for selecting my  operating system.  The ch

It is pretty disappointing that there is LITERALLY ZERO support from Adobe on Medium. Great program, too bad they ruined it by buying it. At least Oculus had a forum. This makes me want to cancel my photoshop subscription and switch to gimp, find an alternative to Medium too. 

My website hosts have jacked up the price so I am looking for a new website host. My website includes videos edited in  Premiere Pro .Does Adobe host websites? Any suggestions for best host?Thanks. 

In searching the entire Adobe support community for a general discussion forum, I'm assuming the Lounge is it, so here goes. Correct me if I'm wrong but for one who has been designing/developing Javascript enhanced fillable interactive PDF forms using Acrobat since its debut in 1993, fast forward 20 plus years and while the IRS and State governments have significantly improved their online tax forms in PDF format, they still leave much to be desired. In contrast, I still see the need for properly designed/developed fillable, interactive PDF forms in both the public and private business sectors including but not limited to health care, insurance, building construction, etc. whereby these industries more often than not continue to rely on dinosaur technology such as fax machines and the USPS. In reality, my biggest pet peeve is the time taken to accomplish most common everyday tasks in several or more hours that can realistically be done in a fraction of the time without sacrificing qual

hi,I am in the middle of adobe cc training all levels. I will take an exam as soon as I finish.But I would like to know how easy/difficult the certification exams are.I would appreciate any response and tip if you have recently pass the exams and certified.thanks

I am looking for some good warm gloves that still allow you to manipulate a DSLR or mirrorless camera, change lenses, etc. in the middle of winter. I live in the Buffalo, NY area, and so the winter temperatures here might get as low as 10 F with wind chills about –15 F in the worst case (and if the temperature got any lower, I'd probably stay home). So what say you? Any recommendations?

New to using Adobe Creative Cloud for community and online learning, just curious, is slow updating a common issue? Adobe Creative Cloud certification site says that Adobe is working to update and release certifications in 2020, but nothing has been updated. 

Hi everyone, I am new and wanted to introduce myself. I am new have absolutely no artist talent and have never used any of the Adobe video or photo programs. I have a simple goal and would love to get some suggestions on where to start. My goal is to build my business by using social media platforms.   I want to create informative videos on some legal topics, they would-be approximately 5 to 10 mins in length with the goal of keeping my firm on the radar of my targeted audience. I would like to be able to make this as easy as possible, but it has to look professional.   I would like to be able to start with a title card, then fade into my video. Make some simple transactions and then fade out to a closing card. I would like to allow people to maybe click on the video and either go to my home page or to a social media account. I would like to be able to use a green screen simply so I can make the background look more professional.   Can I get an idea of which of the Adobe

Not sure if this is the right forum or not. I use CC products for all my work but my new Mac Mini is turning out to be a disaster. I've missed deadlines on projects because of mysterious crashes and hangs and programs that stop responding. I've used Macs all my life but I'm wondering if there is a decent PC alternative? I need to edit 4k videos and do desktop publishing with high res  photos. Should  I  switch? What should I buy? I imagine the programs feel the same no matter what operating system, right? Thanks for any help.

Hi, Im not sure if this is the best forum for this post but here goes.  Im looking to upgrade the hardware on some PCs at work.  We use Acrobat DC a lot to view very detailed architectural plans and to compile our own.  I've found opening and viewing detailed PDFs can be very slow and am not sure whether this is down to the GPU, CPU or RAM or combination of all of them.   I am looking at getting Nvidia Quadro P2200 graphcis cards and bumping up the RAM in each PC to 32gb (currently 16gb) in each PC.  Our current graphics cards are Nvidia GeForce GT1030s and we have 3.2ghz quad core i5 processors. We will shortly be incorporating illustrator, photoshop and indesign into our workflow - nothing too intensive but want to be sure that what I spec will cover us for the future (for Adobe and other software we run). Have gone with P2200 as we use Solidworks and the recommendation is that we use Nvidia Quadro cards to run it.  Can anyone offer s

Hi there, I'm Patrick. I started working with Adobe's software at 1990/1991 with photoshop on a mac II. My background was that my mother was a grapic designer (back those days) and my father as well. My mom was more into illustration while my father did photography.This is what I grew up with and what I wanted to make. I learned photography, doing graphics, design stuff, illustrating things and added computer based design.Nowadays I'm into visualizing things with those skills and added, 3D, interactive and motion design. Sure it always was meant for creating ideas and visions to describe something.Not only with pictures but also with sound, motion and for that deeper in receiption.Whar I'm missing is a forum for interdisciplinar things where all programs/apps are working together. To me there isn't a big gap between using Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After effects, Audition or even cinema4D?... ...well, at least there is a difference.

I'm not sure if the "fake path" that shows is part of the issue, but I'm seeing this on every device I try and upload from...   

I made an award-winning design and I can't upload it for some unknown reason. After filling out the form, the submit button literally remains unclickable. This is exrtemely frustrating and I can't tell if I'm the only person in the world having this problem, but there's no way I'm missing out on this contest for something that has nothing to do with me.  Thanks for your time! Chris

My answers to a lot of the questions would have been different depending on what perspective I was answering from.I'm firmly rooted on the development side of the house in my paying job.
