This is not intended to be a flaming thread, but I am frustrated, and I'd like to get an impression on whether this is a shared problem, or it's just me. I currently work across three seperate Adobe licenses in different capacities, and several machines. I'm still relatively new in media, but in seven years and two full-time positions, I've never been able to implement Adobe fonts into a legitimate project, either through the Typekit website or from inside Adobe apps. Font-matching failures and sync hanging are simply standard and accepted behaviour. This understanding is shared between me and the colleagues I work with. Occasionally I forget, and successfully choose a cloud font through the font-dropdown in Photoshop or Illustrator, but it never successfully re-syncs the next time I authorise my machine. If a font is included in my Adobe license, I typically find it through Google Fonts or pirate it for local installation. It never crosses my mind that Typekit is a legi

When I open up my indesign doc, there are a couple fonts in my font library missing. These were fonts that were activated/installed on Adobe Typekit through my Adobe CC account. I look to check their avaiablility on Adobe Typekit and they're no where to be found. Would anybody have some insight into this? Is this common?? The specific fonts in reference are:Benton SansTitlingGothicFB 

Hello, I posted my issue on the Illustrator forum but was suggested to post here instead. Original post here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/ligatures-don-t-seem-to-work/td-p/11202281?page=1 The FontForge generated .ttf file is attached -- I can't seem to attach my FontForge .sfd file to this post, unfortunately. Ligatures are turned on in Illustrator as you can see in the screenshot, but they simply don't show - oddly enough they do appear correctly in the glyphs panel, and then incorrectly when inserted into the document. I have seen the same issue in Photoshop and Premiere - but again oddly enough the ligatures work just fine in Premiere Closed Captions, just not as text objects in the document.

When I select the Bold button in MS Word when using Adobe Garamond, what is rendered is Semibold (same when selecting Bold w/Italic).  Even manually selecting the "Bold" style from the drop-down font menu within the Adobe Garamond font family renders Semibold.  I have both the Bold and Semibold styles installed.  Disabling the Semibold/Semibold-Italic fonts doesn't help.  When those fonts are disabled, selecting B in Word just produces "fake" Bold. I used to be able to select the Bold button in MS Word and the actual Bold style would be produced.  (In Pages and other applications, selecting the Bold button renders the Bold style correctly.)  Help?If there's no obvious solution using the font files I already have on my computer, could I try downloading a different/later version?  That's worked for other malfunctions in the past.  (I purchased the 4-style R/B/I/BI family from Adobe.)Microsoft is not able to help, so advice on how to fix the issue f

Hi, I haven't been been able to sync fonts from typekit in a while.  I checked my account and my payments are ok.  Tried to follow all the instructions on this page https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html and still nothing.  😞  

I have been trying to get these two Adobe Fonts to use: (League Gothic & Roboto Slab). When trying to activate them through my web browser I keep getting the error:  I am using an enterprise account through my University (University of Maryland College Park) and checked in my account settings of what I am allowed to use and Adobe Fonts is under it. i am adobe user from myanmar(burmese). My porblem is I can't type myanmar unicode font your porduct are not include rendering system for unicode font. So we can't use myanmar unicode font for all of myanmar people. So we can use only non-unicode font. We want to know your porduct are allow unicode font for next update of all of your product. Hi guys, hope youre all doing well furing this tremendiously crazy time. Im wondering how to find certain fonts. I found on Harper Bazaar's magazine they use 'from what I've looked up'. That they use the font yhat goes by the name of Didot. I've looked for it on the adobe typesface, but it seems to not be up there. Is there anyone that could guide me thrugh finding it or like ones. Matter of face if possible could someone guide me through searching, comparing, and finding fonts just throught the regular internet. If so Id greatly appricate it. 

Hello,Does anyone know any good resources for legal advice on how companies can manage font licencing? I know that you can consult the foundry/vendor where your fonts are from, but I'm interested if there are broader consulations, ie. for a company that manages fonts from multiple sources.

I have a design agency. I created a logo with Cora (Adobe Font from typetogether foundry) for a client for a new brand creation.My client likes the logo & wonder about using the whole font for further materials (website, visuals, products packaging).I contacted the foundry. They gave me the price for commercial use of the font that the client may purchase (10 times the price of the desktop licence, per type, per year - fyi). I understand & I think the client would be ready to pay for this. But they also told me I need to purchase the right to use commercially the logo I created. That I can only use the logo to show in a presentation, but not on products the brand will sell.Is that so? It seems to contradict everything I read on Adobe font licensing page (https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.html#act-lic) as well as on other Adobe answered post. I read adobe EULA and it doesn't seem to contradict my understanding, but it is a fairly complex law text I must say

I have a font problem with an After Effects file, I'm trying everything and I'm banging my head everywhere but I can't solve it!  In my file I have several text boxes, which are then localized in different languages, so I use the Arial Unicode font, that works fine with all these languages (the text has to be all in the same font). The text content is taken from a CSV file that contains all the sentences (in all the languages I have to do) and works fine. The problem arises when I use languages with the Cyrillic or Slavic alphabet (like Russian, for instance) and Greek: font is ok, but the text lines are not correct. At the end of the line the words are splitted: when the lines ends and text is not wrapped properly! Where the line ends the word is split without any regarding to the integrity of the word... I have tried several options in the advanced paragraph properties, but can't get over it. Note that this happens alsom if I put the text manuall

I am a graphic design student currently developing my own original font. I exclusively use adobe products for all of my work for school and professionally. I finished the rough of my typeface and thought it would be incredible to make my typeface completley active. Possible having my font featured on adobe fonts for use and purchase. How would I go about having my font developed so that other designers can use my original typeface?

SHORT VERSION: I love Frutiger. Where did it "go?" Can't find it on here on Adobe's website. LONG VERSION: Back when I got my first Mac (1986), I fell in love with creating things using text (and a few other design elements) on a digital page. Hi All. I coded a PDF generator and I am dealing with text justification. I think I have properly used the Tw and Tc operators; nevertheless when I open the resulting document with Acrobat Reader the text is left aligned as if those operators are zero. Attached is a very short PDF sample. What am I mistaking?
