We use EmojiOne font in AI CC 2015 and outline the emoji characters for use in metal etching. When testing with AI CC 2019 or later we find the B&W version of the EmofiOne font is inaccessible and ONLY the color characters are available which are useless to us. We could jump through several hoops to convert them to B&W, but in a production environment this is not practical. Why is there a "Fallback" font embedded in EmojiOne that is completely unavailable in the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator? B&W emojis are extremely useful in our market and I'm sure wer'e not alone. Adobe, if you're listening, please give us a B&W version of EmojiOne (since it's already available in your older software). Edit: Here's a simple example of EmojiOne characters in AI CC 2020. The B&W images were outlined in AI CC 2015 and pasted into 2020. Adobe, just give us a "Black and White" option for this font.
Why are there two different versions of Nimbus Sans Condensed available between my computer and colleagues? Font availability within the same corporate license, they SHOULD be the same. Isnt this part of the reason we use Adobe font managing, to both take care of licensing AND potential conflicts? My computer: Nimbus Sans Condensed LColleagues: Nimbus Sans Condensed We are both using CC 2020 on macOS Mojave 10.14.6
Hello, I'm not sure if this question belongs here or in the Fonts community. We are just now having to upgrade to CC from CS6. Our magazine uses various weights and styles of Helvetica and Helvetica Neue. We have them all in Type 1 fonts, but many years old. I was able to install them in Windows 10 but they don't appear in InDesign or Illustrator. According to other posts I've read, they should also be added to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2020\Fonts, so I did that. They still aren't available to CC apps (I had closed InDesign before installing). If I have to purchase them again (they aren't available from Adobe, as far as I can see), I will, but I'm hoping not. Thanks for any advice you all can provide.
Hi "Microsoft YaHei UI" is from adobe fonts ?
I don't know how to find fonts that I can use for redbubble stickers etc...and I don't understand all of the rules with using fonts. From what I understand, using a font in a design is okay, but using a single glyph isn't? Doesn't make sense. Anyway, for example if I did a single word or phrase as a sticker in that font, stylized/edited by me, or in the original font format, is that allowed?
The recent change in how "Fonts are Activated" requires you to be logged into Adobe Creative Cloud to use the licensed font. You are no longer able to download the asset to your PC/MAC for use offline. How does a licensed user access fonts in MS Word to create an Adobe PDF using a licensed Adobe font when not logged into Adobe Creative Cloud? This is a critical feature as we are not always connected to the internet when working. Thank you for your help in advance. Moved from Forum Help by Mod.
We are about to embark on typesetting our Bible (Koren) in number of bilingual versions (Hebrew - English, Hebrew - French, etc.). We are going to be setting our English, French, Spanish and Russian version using the new Arno Pro. Our problem is Amharic. We have a text, but unfortunately our in-house knowledge of Amharic is zilch. Is there anybody out there that can recommend what high-quality (ie like Arno and Minion) Amharic fonts are available for purchase? I dont want to typeset the Bible in the Amharic equivalent of Times or Courier.
Hi 🙂Im using the font Avenir and Avenir Next commercially, for books, videos and stuff like that. Im making this on a Mac computer, using creative cloud programs like Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Indesign, which Im paying monthly. Off course I expect that these licences keeps me covered and that I can use the Avenir fonts (which comes preinstalled and appears in the programs). But just to double check, what do you say?RegardsDaniel

I have Acrobat Pro XI on my Mac, mostly because I use Distiller with a PostScript program which I maintain (www.jdawiseman.com/placemat.html — not many PostScript programmers still active!).Does Acrobat Pro XI include access to the Adobe fonts ‘Proxima Nova Extra Condensed Bold’, ‘Apres Extra Condensed Regular’, ‘Open Sans Regular’, and ‘Open Sans Light’ such that they can be seen by Distiller Pro XI? If yes, please, how?
Is there any support for the Devnagari Font problem? I have installed Adobe Devanagari font but it's not working properly with mix letters in the Marathi language. If I type and copy it from any other app and paste it in PS it messes it again.

I was setting up my mac book pro with all my presets that I have on my windows pc. However, one of the fonts didn't transfer over and it is even missing from the type kit. If it has been removed, then why would my pc still have it? Is it a glitch?
I created test OTF font with several color glyphs, but they don't work in Adobe Ilustrator CC (23.0.1). Program don't see the color glyphs. Does someone know why? E.g. my font hasn't "svg" icon like e.g. EmojiOne. What should I do to make my font have this status? Is there a way to convert?

I want to clarify something. For example, I use a font in a YouTube Video Thumbnail, and video is monetized, I know that Adobe Fonts allowed for commercial use. What if I cancel my Adobe Subscription in future? What happens then? Do I have to remove the video from YouTube? Reagrds.
I'm putting together a brand style guide and it needs to get done ASAP. Trying to use Frontify instead of the old-school PDF. Frontify requires either Typekit or Google Fonts to customize fonts. Since I already have CC, I opted for Typekit. Honestly, I haven't ever used it, so I don't know what I'm doing. I need Gotham, but Typekit doesn't seem to have it. How can I get Gotham into my fonts for use on Frontify? I have it in Illustrator and Photoshop, but just downloaded the font and installed it using FontBook on my Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi There, In my indesign file, I'm using the font Avenir Next. The 'U' character is appearing strangely. I'm using the most up to date version of Adobe Indesign on a Mac computer. The font I'm using is the default version installed on a Mac. What I've tried:Uninstalling and re-installing the font in font book Updating indesign suggested here My view is - View ▸ Display Performance ▸ High Quality Display Note:This is unrelated to zoom size.Works as expected in programs outside of Adobe CC.According to this thread Adobe Support and Linotype / Monotype are unable to help. I've published to a PDF and it seems like this problem doesn't occur on publishing to PDF, which is GREAT news - but it still concerns me. Is it fixable?
