I Was Blocked from Access This Site

Hello,

 

I have been posting in the InDesign forum for years and the last time I posted was a day ago. When I came back yesterday, all of a sudden, I received the message saying I am not allowed to access this site (please see attached jpgs). I have to create a new account with new email address in order to keep posting in the forum since I do have an open question pending for replies.

 

I would like to know why was I being blocked and is there a way I can contact the site moderator to get an explanation? I have not posted anything that was against the rules whatsoever. I have tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge and even from my mobile, all have the same messages.

 

Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated.

in my previous message i flagged an adobe employee to see if they had any insight into your situation.


I just received an email from Adobe Customer Care telling me the issue should have been resolved. I logged into the forum with my old account and was able to get in it. I just wonder what was the problem.

it doesn't look like you were blocked.

 

users are blocked for violating forum guidelines, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/adobe-community-guidelines/td-p/4788157/redirect_from_archived_page/true

 

most often those banned are spammers. occasionally,  unconstructive comments trigger a banning after ignoring a warning.  neither apply to you.  plus, you're able to post here.  banned users are banned from all adobe forums.

 

so, try using a different browser.  in particular, using a mobile app browser is most often successful.

I am able to post here because as I mentioned in my original post, I created a new account with different email address. I have used Chrome, Firefox and Edge and  also have tried all mobile app browsers as well, same message.

Yes. As I mentioned in my original post, I have used that account for years and posted many posts in the past, no issue until a day ago. Maybe there's a glitch in the site?


what's your "banned" adobe id/user name?
